The Weeknd in Singapore — Travel Guide

The Weeknd's record-breaking stadium tour plays its closest stop to India — two nights in Singapore.

The Weeknd is finally within a short flight of India. On 2 and 3 October 2026, the After Hours Til Dawn Tour — the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist — takes over Singapore's 55,000-capacity National Stadium for two nights. This is the tour's final leg, so there is no "next time" to wait for. For Indian fans who have streamed Blinding Lights, Starboy and Die For You on loop, Singapore is the nearest he gets: about 5.5 hours from Delhi or Mumbai, a 2.5-hour time difference, and an e-visa that costs from ₹2,550 and takes 3–5 working days. Tickets started around SGD 158 (about ₹10,300), with premium and VIP options going up to roughly SGD 1,028 (about ₹67,000). Add hawker food, Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa around the show, and one concert becomes the trip your group chat talks about for years!

October in Singapore brings slightly cooler temperatures with occasional rain showers and moderate air quality.

Usual trip duration

3-4 days

A 3-4 day trip to Singapore allows you to explore the iconic Marina Bay Sands, visit the beautiful Gardens by the Bay, experience the vibrant culture in Chinatown, and indulge in the delicious street food at hawker centers.

Moderately expensive

Singapore can be moderately expensive for tourists, with higher costs for accommodations, dining, and transportation compared to some other destinations. However, there are still budget-friendly options available, especially for dining and local transportation. Prices may also vary based on the season and specific preferences.

Interesting facts

After Hours Til Dawn is the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist — past US$1 billion in gross and around 7.5 million tickets sold across 150+ shows since it began in July 2022.

Blinding Lights is the most-streamed song in Spotify history — the first track ever to cross 4 billion streams on the platform.

The 2026 Asia run is billed as the final leg of the tour, covering seven cities — Singapore is one of only two stops within a roughly 5–6 hour flight of India.

Singapore's National Stadium holds about 55,000 people and has a retractable dome roof — the show happens rain or shine.

The tour's stage design features a ruined, dystopian cityscape and a giant glowing moon, inspired by the After Hours and Dawn FM album visuals.

Do’s and Don’ts

Do buy tickets only from Ticketmaster SG or Live Nation SG — resale tickets from unofficial sellers are routinely cancelled at Singapore venues.

Do take the MRT to Stadium station (Circle Line) — it opens right onto the venue, and 50,000 people leaving at once makes taxis painful.

Do reach gates by 6–6:30 PM for an 8 PM show; security checks at National Stadium are slow on sold-out nights.

Do carry a small bag only (within venue size limits) — large bags go to paid storage or get refused.

Do download your e-ticket before leaving the hotel; stadium WiFi and mobile networks choke at entry time.

Do book flights and hotels early — two Weeknd nights plus regular October tourists push Kallang and city-centre hotel prices up fast.

Don't carry chewing gum into Singapore — its sale is banned, and littering fines start around SGD 300 (about ₹19,500).

Don't bring professional cameras, drones, umbrellas or outside food and drink — standard National Stadium prohibited items.

Don't smoke or vape anywhere near the venue — vaping devices are illegal in Singapore even for personal use, and fines are heavy.

Don't jaywalk, litter or eat on the MRT; Singapore enforces these fines for real.

Don't plan a same-night flight out — the show runs to about 11 PM and Changi is across the city.

Don't fall for "VIP upgrade" DMs on Instagram or Telegram; all official VIP packages sell through Ticketmaster SG only.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is The Weeknd performing in Singapore in 2026?

The Weeknd plays Singapore's National Stadium on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October 2026, with shows starting around 8 PM. The two nights are part of the final Asia leg of his After Hours Til Dawn Tour.

How much are The Weeknd Singapore 2026 tickets?

Standard tickets started from around SGD 158 (about ₹10,300), with premium categories and VIP packages going up to roughly SGD 1,028 (about ₹67,000). General sale opened on 21 May 2026 via Ticketmaster SG. Popular categories sell fast, so check ticketmaster.sg for live availability.

Is The Weeknd coming to India in 2026?

No, The Weeknd has not announced any India dates, and the 2026 Asia run is billed as the final leg of the After Hours Til Dawn Tour. Singapore (2–3 October) and Bangkok (11–12 October) are the nearest stops for Indian fans — both are around 4 to 5.5 hours by direct flight.

Do Indians need a visa to attend The Weeknd concert in Singapore?

Yes, Indian ordinary passport holders need a Singapore e-visa applied through ICA-authorised agents. It costs from about ₹2,550, takes 3–5 working days, and approval rates are roughly 85–90% with complete documents (agency estimate). Apply 3–4 weeks before travel.

How do I buy The Weeknd Singapore tickets from India?

Buy directly on ticketmaster.sg or livenation.sg — international cards are accepted and tickets are delivered digitally. Avoid resale pages, Telegram groups and Instagram sellers; unofficial tickets are often cancelled at the gate.

How far is the National Stadium from Changi Airport and the city?

The National Stadium is at Kallang, about 20 minutes by taxi from Changi Airport and 10 minutes from the city centre. The simplest route on concert night is the MRT to Stadium station on the Circle Line, which opens right at the venue.

Who is the opening act for The Weeknd in Singapore?

Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts have been announced as support on the Asia leg, with DJ ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U also playing select dates. Check Live Nation SG closer to the show for the confirmed Singapore line-up.

What time should I reach the National Stadium for the concert?

Gates typically open 1.5–2 hours before an 8 PM show, and security checks are slow on sold-out nights, so aim to arrive by 6–6:30 PM. Eat before you enter — stadium food queues are long and pricier than hawker centres outside.

What is the weather in Singapore in October?

Hot and humid, around 26–32°C, with short tropical showers most afternoons. The National Stadium has a dome roof, so the show is unaffected. Light cotton clothing and a small foldable poncho for the day's sightseeing work best.

How much does a Weeknd Singapore trip cost from India?

A 4-day trip costs about ₹56,000 per person on a tight budget and around ₹1.1 lakh with mid-range comfort — including return flights, hotel, food, visa and a concert ticket. VIP packages and five-star stays push it past ₹2.7 lakh. Booking flights 3–4 months early helps the most.

Is one night or two nights worth it for the Singapore shows?

Both nights have the same full stadium production, so one night is enough for most fans. Superfans booking both should note the setlist on this tour has stayed largely consistent night to night. If you can only get tickets for one date, Saturday 3 October suits a weekend trip better.

Can I club The Weeknd Singapore show with the Bangkok shows?

Yes — Bangkok's shows are on 11–12 October, about a week after Singapore. Singapore–Bangkok flights take around 2.5 hours, but remember Thailand now needs a separate e-visa or visa-on-arrival for Indians, so plan paperwork for both countries.
