Tomorrowland Thailand

Asia's first full Tomorrowland rises near Pattaya this December — and India is four hours away.

For two decades, Indian EDM fans have watched Tomorrowland's Belgium aftermovies and added it to the someday list. This December, someday lands four hours from home. Tomorrowland's first full-scale festival in Asia runs from 11 to 13 December 2026 at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi, about an hour from Pattaya. The numbers are huge: a 560-acre site, six stages including the legendary Mainstage, and a target of over 50,000 people a day. The iconic CORE and FREEDOM stages travel to Asia for the first time too. For Indians the trip suddenly makes sense in a way Belgium never did. No Schengen visa marathon, no ₹60,000 flight, no €200-a-night hotel. You fly into Bangkok like lakhs of Indians do every year, head down the coast, and stand under the same fireworks people cross oceans for. December weather on the Thai coast is at its best, which is one more sign to go.

Interesting facts

Tomorrowland Thailand 2026 is the festival's first full-scale edition in Asia, after two decades of the main event in Boom, Belgium, where it began in 2005.

The venue is Wisdom Valley in Khao Mai Kaew, Chonburi — a 560-acre site about an hour from Pattaya — hosting six stages with a target of over 50,000 visitors a day.

The iconic CORE and FREEDOM stages appear in Asia for the first time, alongside the legendary Mainstage.

Unlike Belgium, there is no DreamVille campsite in Thailand. Official hotel packages with shuttle connections to the grounds replace it.

A 3-day Full Madness Pass costs 12,500 THB (about ₹32,500), while the Belgium edition's weekend passes sell out within hours to a global crowd of 400,000 across two weekends.

Do’s and Don’ts

Do buy only from tomorrowland.com or its official partners. Resale scams follow this festival everywhere, and wristbands are registered to identities.

Do book a hotel package with shuttle access, or stay in Pattaya and pre-plan transport. Wisdom Valley is rural, and 50,000 people leave at the same time every night.

Do carry sunscreen, a cap and a refillable bottle. Even in December, Thai afternoon sun at an open-air festival is strong by Indian standards too.

Do set up the festival's cashless payment wristband or app top-up in advance, since stalls inside do not take cash.

Do budget extra for food and drinks inside — festival pricing runs well above Thai street-food rates.

Do plan arrival into Bangkok at least a day before Day 1, so a flight delay does not eat your first festival day.

Don't wait for venue-gate tickets. Tomorrowland editions do not sell at the gate, and passes are sold out or near it months ahead.

Don't carry drugs anywhere near the festival. Thailand's narcotics laws are severe, and festival policing is heavy.

Don't book a hotel in Bangkok thinking it is close. The city is 2 hours or more from Wisdom Valley each way; stay in or near Pattaya instead.

Don't carry professional cameras, drones or large bags. Festival rules bar them and lockers are limited.

Don't plan a same-night flight home after Day 3. Closing fireworks end late, and the airport is 90 or more minutes away.

Don't forget the TDAC digital arrival card before flying to Thailand. Airlines can deny boarding without it.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is Tomorrowland Thailand 2026?

Tomorrowland Thailand runs from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December 2026. It is the festival's first full-scale edition in Asia. The venue is Wisdom Valley in Chonburi province, about an hour from Pattaya.

Where exactly is Tomorrowland Thailand being held?

At Wisdom Valley in Khao Mai Kaew, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi — not Kanchanaburi, as some early reports suggested. The 560-acre site sits roughly an hour inland from Pattaya and about 2 hours from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport. Official shuttles connect partner hotels to the grounds.

How much do Tomorrowland Thailand tickets cost in rupees?

The 3-day Full Madness Pass costs 12,500 THB, about ₹32,500, and the Full Madness Comfort (VIP) about ₹52,500. Single-day passes start around ₹13,300 and Day Comfort around ₹21,300. All sales run through tomorrowland.com, and prices include VAT and fees.

Are Tomorrowland Thailand tickets still available?

The worldwide sale opened on 7 March 2026 and demand has been heavy, so popular categories may be sold out or limited. Check tomorrowland.com for remaining passes and the official resale platform for returned tickets. Never buy from unofficial resellers, since wristbands are identity-registered.

How do I reach Tomorrowland Thailand from India?

Fly Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata to Bangkok (4 to 4.5 hours from Delhi), then road transfer about 2 hours toward Pattaya. From Pattaya hotels, official shuttles cover the last stretch to Wisdom Valley. Some travellers route via U-Tapao airport near Pattaya, which has connections from Bangkok.

Do Indians need a visa for Tomorrowland Thailand?

Yes, as of mid-2026 Indians need either an e-visa (₹3,000, up to 60 days) or a Visa on Arrival (about ₹5,200, 15 days). Thailand withdrew its 60-day visa-free entry for Indians in May 2026. Apply for the e-visa by early November and fill the free TDAC arrival card before flying.

Is there camping (DreamVille) at Tomorrowland Thailand?

No, this edition has no DreamVille campsite. Official hotel packages with shuttle transport replace it, sold through Tomorrowland's Global Journey programme since 28 February 2026. Independent travellers can stay in Pattaya and arrange shuttle or taxi transfers.

How much does a Tomorrowland Thailand trip cost from India?

Plan roughly ₹49,000 on a tight budget with a single-day pass, around ₹97,000 mid-range with a Full Madness Pass, and ₹2 lakh for the luxury version, per person ex-Delhi for 5 days. The festival pass is the biggest single cost after flights. December is peak season, so book flights and hotels early.

What is the weather like in Thailand in December?

December is Thailand's best month — dry, sunny days around 30°C and pleasant evenings near 22–24°C on the Chonburi coast. Festival afternoons will still feel hot in open ground, so carry sunscreen and hydrate. Rain is unlikely but not impossible.

Is Tomorrowland Thailand cheaper than Tomorrowland Belgium for Indians?

Substantially, yes — flights cost a third of Europe fares, the ₹3,000 e-visa replaces the Schengen process, and Thai hotels and food cost far less. The pass price is also lower than Belgium's weekend pricing. For most Indian fans this is the most affordable full Tomorrowland there has ever been.

Can I combine Tomorrowland with a Thailand holiday?

Easily — Pattaya's beaches and Koh Larn island are at the festival's doorstep, and Bangkok is 2 hours away. A 60-day e-visa leaves room to add Krabi or Phuket after the festival. Most Indian travellers will find 5 to 7 days ideal.
