Are you planning to travel during Holi? Guess what! Indian Railways has announced more trains during this colourful season.
In order to clear the rush during the festive season, Northern Railways (NR) zone of the Railway Ministry has announced special trains including weekly and bi-weekly special trains to Lucknow, Varanasi, Ambala and Vaishno Devi.

Details of Holi Special Trains 2020
- The Bathinda-Varanasi weekly special will operate from Bathinda station between 1st March to 8th March on Sundays.
- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Varanasi special train started from Katra station on 1st March and will run until 8th March. This special train will run only on Sundays.
- The Hazrat Nizamuddin-Lucknow express special train will operate from 2nd March up until 9th March on Mondays.
- Anand Vihar-Lucknow special express train will run from Anand Vihar station between 4th March to 11th March on Wednesdays.
- New Delhi-Varanasi tri-weekly special train will operate from New Delhi station from 3rd March to 10th March on Tuesdays.
- Saharanpur-Ambala Cantt MEMU special train will operate from Saharanpur between March 1 to March 31 daily.
The return journey of all these special trains will be operational too.
