Basically it’s more than 100 years old building, so you can’t expect the rooms and amenities to be very perfect. You need all your strength to lock the doors. Bathroom is not ok. There is no water force in the shower at all. They are not keeping any body wash, just soap. They haven’t given even one hour of late check out even after requesting as our departure was scheduled at 1. Restaurant staffs are very friendly and courteous and good was good.

Atmosphere: 10/10. It is a colonial building, so it feels unique and full of character.’Location: 10/10. An easy walk to the Chinese Fishing Nets, Princess Street, and Burger Street. The Kathakali dance center (the green-face dance) is right around the corner.10 min tuk tuk if you want to go the jew street and spice market.’Facilities: 10/10. The room was super big and comfy, and the bed was great for a good night's sleep. OHaving a pool was a nice bonus, though it sits right in front of the dining area, so you feel a bit on display.’Service: 10/10. Staff were consistently good. We ate dinner at the restaurant a few times, and they have options like pasta if you are traveling with kids.’Tip: I really enjoyed the cooking class. Choose local vegetarian dishes if you want to learn it end to end.

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was the perfect place to start our holiday in Kerala. The lovely colonial style gives a great atmosphere, the rooms were large, clean with pretty decor.We enjoyed the food a lot from breakfast ( variations every day) till dinner with a choice for all wishes.The service in all parts of the hotel was extremely attentative, caring, very friendly and decent.Thanks to everyone. I had a wonderful stay here. The property was very comfortable and well-maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Anu, who was always ready to help and made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and excellent quality. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.
