Top hotel in Shirdi for a staycation

Our stay at Hotel Alaukik, Shirdi was genuinely delightful and unforgettable. The rooms were spotless, tidy, and well-kept, ensuring a very comfortable experience. The staff were consistently polite, courteous, helpful, and welcoming during our entire visit. The hotel's location is a big plus, being close enough to the temple to walk there easily, which is very convenient for pilgrims. What truly made our stay stand out was the kindness and warmth of the hotel staff. On July 12th, my daughter's birthday, they kindly celebrated the occasion with us in their restaurant, a thoughtful and sweet gesture that made the day even more special for our family. We sincerely appreciate the whole team at Hotel Alaukik for their excellent hospitality and for making our trip to Shirdi memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a clean, comfortable, well-located place with friendly and caring staff.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and polite, providing good service during our stay, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience was negatively impacted by serious management and infrastructure problems, especially for those on a pilgrimage. The roads around the hotel are under heavy construction, making vehicle access very difficult, and the hotel did not warn us beforehand. Since this work is expected to last for months, the hotel should offer shuttle or auto services to the Sai Mandir gates for visitors, but none are available. The torn-up road also made the ramp inaccessible, posing a safety risk for elderly family members who almost fell. Additionally, the airport transfers booked through the hotel were overpriced at ₹1,200, while an UberXL only cost ₹500-600. In summary, despite the excellent service from the staff, the poor road conditions, lack of transport support, safety concerns for seniors, and expensive transfers make it hard to recommend this hotel for families visiting Shirdi for Darshan.

The staff in the restaurent are not sharp. After ordering the food we had to wait for very long time...cleanliness in the room can be improved..I saw lot of dust on the door and the window in the washrooms are not properly closed..there is an adjacent building steps exactly opposite to our washroom and there is visibility.

The room was spacious and comfortable for three guests. Bath towels were available, but no hand towels. The amenities were satisfactory. We did not sample the food. The hotel is conveniently located near the temple, just under a 5-minute walk to the entrance. The service was excellent.
