Ayati Resort & Spa

Our staycation at Ayati Resort & Spa was fantastic. The rooms were large, tidy, cozy, and well-kept. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, which brought a lot of fun and relaxation to our visit. The food was very tasty, offering high quality and a good selection. The hospitality and service were top-notch, making our whole experience pleasant and unforgettable. In summary, it was a great and restful staycation, ideal for families, couples, or anyone seeking a calm retreat. We highly recommend it and would love to return.

I reserved a one-night stay at Ayati, opting for the Cottage Pool Villa because I was excited about having a private pool and a bathtub in the room. Sadly, the experience was very disappointing. The photos on Google are also misleading. Upon arrival, the reception told us the bathtub was not working due to a limitation with their geyser, and using it would mean no hot water for three hours. When we tried, there was no water at all for the bathtub. The private pool was also nearly unusable because the water was extremely cold. I don't understand why a pool is a main feature of such an expensive room if guests can't use it comfortably, especially in cold or rainy weather. No one wants to swim in freezing water or enjoy the pool then. If these amenities don't work, what are guests paying extra for? They offered us high tea to make up for the trouble, which we appreciated, but we booked the villa for the pool and bathtub experience, not for high tea. A free high tea doesn't make up for the main amenities that were advertised and expected. There is no gaming area for kids, so it's definitely not kid-friendly. My child was bored with no bathtub, no pool, no carrom, chess, or snooker. I feel management needs to value customers' time and money. If charging premium for a luxury villa, the amenities should be fully functional and usable. They could learn from well-run five-star resorts on how to maintain luxury amenities consistently, regardless of weather or season. The food was also disappointing, very poor and tasteless, even the chai was bad. The only decent items were the sizzling brownie and ice cream. The breakfast buffet was especially disappointing with very little we enjoyed, and overall quality and taste were far below what we expected from such a pricey resort. I never had a sweet misal like theirs before, and it was very unpleasant. Cleanliness and housekeeping were issues too; we saw tissues on the floor that no one cleaned up. For a premium resort, basic cleanliness should be standard. Overall, I strongly suggest management improve food quality, review the kitchen staff and chefs, enhance housekeeping, and most importantly, make sure the promised amenities in premium rooms actually work and can be used. I'm giving two stars out of fairness, but honestly, I don't think even two stars are deserved. The stay was far from what we expected or the value we paid for.

We enjoyed a delightful one-day staycation at Ayati Resorts and Spa, Mahabaleshwar, to mark my mom's 50th birthday, and it was a truly pleasant experience overall. The rooms were tidy, cozy, and well-kept. The swimming pool was quite large and perfect for unwinding. The food was the highlight for us; everything we tasted was very tasty. The resort also surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake, which was a lovely touch that made the celebration even more memorable. ❤️ Special thanks to Anil from the restaurant team, who was very kind, helpful, and friendly throughout our visit. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would definitely suggest Ayati Resorts and Spa for a peaceful staycation in Mahabaleshwar. ✨
