The hotel is generally very good, and I have been a guest here for the past 10 years. However, during my recent stay, I had a very disappointing encounter with the night-duty reception staff. I checked in at 1:00 AM on the 16th and checked out at 1:45 AM on the 17th. Since my train was at 5:00 PM, I waited in the reception lobby after checkout. When I tried to rest there, the night manager spoke to me rudely and told me to leave, saying guests can only wait 30 minutes after checkout. As a loyal guest for a decade, I found this behavior unprofessional and disrespectful. The night manager's attitude was disappointing and left a bad impression despite the hotel's otherwise good facilities. It was a very bad experience with the reception staff. I would never stay here with family again; the morning staff are much better. The night reception staff seem to want to sleep and do not allow waiting even for half an hour at night, and management ignores this issue. Could you please tell me which hotel policy states that guests cannot stay in the lobby after checkout? I checked out at 1:45 AM and my train was at 5:00 PM. I was just waiting in the lobby and not causing any trouble. After being a guest for nearly 10 years, I was surprised to be asked to leave, especially since many hotels allow guests to wait in common areas after checkout. I would appreciate clarification on this policy and the reason for such treatment.

This hotel stay was extremely disappointing and one of the worst experiences I've had. We arrived around 2:45 AM on June 9, 2026, after a long trip. Soon after checking in, local police came to our room unannounced, inspected us, and asked to open our bags. While cooperation with authorities is understandable, guests should be informed beforehand or at least properly briefed by hotel staff. Instead, we were left confused and uneasy in the middle of the night. When we expressed our concerns to management, their response was simply that "this happens" and they could not intervene. There was no apology or regard for guest privacy. The room was unhygienic, with cockroaches present, and no effective action was taken after we reported it. The elevator was also dirty, showing tobacco spit stains. Billing was another issue: the rate was advertised as ₹1,600 for 24 hours, but we stayed from about 2:45 AM on June 9 to 8:00 AM on June 10 and were charged ₹3,200. We asked staff to reduce or adjust the charge since we left early, but our request was flatly refused without explanation. Additionally, although an official QR code was displayed at reception, we were told to pay via a personal mobile number, which raised concerns about payment transparency. Overall, the late-night police inspection, poor management response, unhygienic conditions, questionable billing, and lack of customer care made this a very unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values privacy, cleanliness, transparency, and professional service.

We stayed at Hotel Lotus Grand during our trip from Madhya Pradesh to Hyderabad. While the hotel was okay, our overall experience was very disappointing. Just 15 minutes after checking in, local police came to our room, knocked, and entered without properly explaining why. They asked us to open our bags for inspection. We expected the hotel staff to protect our privacy and at least inform us about the situation, but they showed no concern or responsibility. After checking out early from our two-day stay, we realized we left a pair of shoes behind. We called the hotel the next day to ask if they could check and send the shoes by courier at our cost, but the staff refused to help and said nothing was found. A hotel should ensure guest safety, privacy, and support, but we received none of these. The service and guest support were very disappointing.

The staff provided terrible service. The complimentary breakfast was disgusting 🤮🤮. Don't spend your money booking this hotel.
