FLUTTER HOTELS PROVIDED OUTSTANDING SERVICE

Our experience at Flutter Hotels & Resorts, Lansdowne was far below acceptable standards, and I would advise looking at other nearby hotels before booking here. The main problem was hygiene: our room had a constant toilet/sewage odor, the bathroom and toilet bowl were stained, and overall cleanliness was very poor. We saw cockroaches, lizards, and what seemed to be bed bugs or insects during our stay. The linens, sofas, and other furniture also had suspicious stains that looked like they were left by previous guests. We reported these issues to the manager and contacted Kush/Fateh from sales, but nothing improved significantly. For the toilet smell, the solution was just to add cleaner rather than fix the root cause. Even more worrying was the property's condition and safety. Several areas were damaged and poorly maintained. We saw smoke coming from electrical wiring or fittings after what looked like a short circuit. Electrical safety should be taken seriously, especially with families staying. Our booking was also disappointing. We chose Super Deluxe rooms on the ground floor because we were traveling with elderly parents, but on arrival, the rooms offered were on the second floor. After much discussion, we got one ground-floor room, but it also had the same bad smell and poor condition. The property did not match the photos and information given before booking. Many promises made by the sales team were not kept, including the bonfire that was promised but not provided. Ironically, the best part of our package was the cab and driver, handled by a third party, not the hotel itself. Lansdowne is a lovely place where families come to relax, but poor hygiene, pests, electrical safety issues, and broken promises can ruin the experience. Based on our stay, I cannot recommend Flutter Hotels & Resorts. Please check recent genuine guest reviews and compare other nearby hotels before booking or trusting sales promises. Management needs to seriously improve cleanliness, pest control, electrical safety, maintenance, and how rooms and facilities are presented. A hotel should deliver what guests pay for and are promised, not leave them struggling for basic hygiene and the room type or location they booked.

The paratha tasted really good. The staff were also very helpful.
