Cleanliness and overall service quality are major concerns here. The wash basin was clogged, the hand shower was leaking, and the bathroom shower-area door was broken. These are basic maintenance issues that should not be expected from a hotel carrying this brand name.The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The staff were not attentive and repeatedly forgot our orders. Whenever we asked for multiple items, they would bring just one thing at a time, requiring us to keep reminding them. The service team appeared poorly trained and lacked the attentiveness and efficiency expected in hospitality.More importantly, the staff did not come across as warm or welcoming. Most interactions were met with a flat expression, with very little sense of friendliness or hospitality.Overall, I am giving a rating of 3 largely because of the brand name and the expectations associated with it. Based purely on my experience with cleanliness, maintenance, responsiveness, and hospitality, I would struggle to rate the property even 2 out of 5.The management seriously needs to focus on basic maintenance, staff training, responsiveness, and—most importantly—the attitude towards guests. A strong brand name creates expectations, but the actual guest experience has to live up to it.
Good place to stay.
It doesn’t deserve to be a member of ITC. That’s the only reason why I booked this hotel. The cleanliness wasn’t good. The hotel’s fixtures are old and outdated. We had to wait 40 minutes for our Omlettes even though we got there at 7 to have breakfast. David was really nice and he came to assist us and actually got it done whereas the manger forgot to put in our orders.
