Gaur Opulent

We booked four rooms for eight people at Gaur Opulent, Goa, through MakeMyTrip, but our stay was extremely disappointing. From check-in itself, the management was rude and unprofessional. A simple issue regarding a masked Aadhaar card was handled with unnecessary arguments instead of polite communication.Although we had booked four rooms as one group, the rooms were scattered across different blocks, and our request to stay closer together was not accommodated. The property was also poorly maintained, with damaged bathroom windows and a non-functional air conditioner in one room. Despite repeated complaints and assurances, the AC was never repaired during our stay.The situation became worse when the manager spoke disrespectfully to one of our friends, and later the management knocked on our door at night to intimidate us by mentioning complaints against us. The hotel also lacked basic amenities such as proper parking and food service.Overall, the poor maintenance, lack of hospitality, and unprofessional behaviour made this one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. We would not recommend Gaur Opulent to anyone visiting Goa.

Although we booked four rooms as a group, the rooms were spread out in different blocks, and our request to be closer was ignored. The property was poorly maintained, with broken bathroom windows and a non-working air conditioner in one room. Despite multiple complaints and promises, the AC was never fixed during our stay. Things worsened when the manager spoke disrespectfully to one of our friends, and later the staff knocked on our door at night to intimidate us by mentioning complaints against us. The hotel also lacked basic facilities like proper parking and food service. Overall, the poor upkeep, lack of hospitality, and unprofessional conduct made this one of our worst hotel experiences. We would not suggest Gaur Opulent to anyone visiting Goa.

Worst ever arrogant ignorant receptionist called Amit, shanty old zero maintenance property, stray dogs, no gate, no security, dirty linens, dead matress, unprofessional single Nepali maid as housekeeping, no geyser, old dirty fridge, dirty door mat, loud early morning devotional songs, no power backup, no pantry service, no welcome drink, shanky algae infected dirty pool, only good part is location. But we checked our onr day eRky to avoid horrific experience. A big Noooo to families..

The receptionist Amit was extremely arrogant and ignorant. The property is shabby, old, and poorly maintained with stray dogs around, no gate, and no security. The linens were dirty, the mattress was worn out, and the housekeeping was done by an unprofessional single Nepali maid. There was no geyser, the fridge was old and dirty, and the door mat was filthy. Loud devotional songs played early in the morning, there was no power backup or pantry service, and no welcome drink was offered. The pool was algae-infected and dirty. The only positive aspect was the location. We left after one day to avoid a terrible experience. Definitely not suitable for families.

I stayed for three days, and overall things were okay, but the host, Amit Gaur, was very rude and had a lot of unnecessary attitude. His unprofessional behavior made the experience worse.
