The most affordable and excellent stay in Goa, it was among the top accommodations for tourists, whether solo travelers, friends, groups, or couples. They offer private rooms for couples and have a separate garden area for drinks and parties, making it a fun experience for me.

Had a wonderful stay at Green Nest. The owner and staff were very friendly. The atmosphere there is fantastic. I would definitely recommend Green Nest for accommodation.

During our trip to Goa, we stayed in a private room at Green Nest Hostel and found the experience to be comfortable and peaceful overall. One of the main advantages of this place is its tranquil and green surroundings, providing a quiet retreat from the usual noise and crowds of Goa. The hostel was clean, secure, and well-kept, making for a pleasant stay. Our room featured two balconies with nice views, which enhanced the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with scooter rentals and recommending a nearby hospital when I fell ill. Although the hospital was about 20 minutes away, it was a good recommendation and I received proper care. However, there are some areas for improvement. The hostel lacks an elevator, and our room was on the second floor. Only one staff member handled multiple roles, including housekeeping and kitchen duties, and due to a back problem, he couldn’t help much with luggage, which could be difficult for guests with heavy bags. While the hostel was mostly clean, room cleaning was not daily, and basic items like toilet paper had to be requested repeatedly instead of being replenished automatically, which would be more convenient. Breakfast choices were limited to toast, jam, omelettes, tea, coffee, and Maggi. Offering a wider breakfast menu or more food options on-site would greatly improve the stay, especially since the hostel is far from most tourist spots and restaurants. When I was sick and unable to go out for meals, having more food available at the hostel would have been very helpful. Being on the second floor without a lift meant I had to go downstairs and then out to find food. There was only one nearby restaurant with a limited menu. Simple comfort foods like khichdi or curd rice, if available on request, would have been a big help in such situations. The location is peaceful but quite remote, with most places requiring a 20–30 minute drive, so having a scooter or vehicle is advisable. The private room was generally comfortable, but the double bed felt small for two adults, and there were not enough charging points for multiple devices, which could be inconvenient. Overall, Green Nest Hostel is a good option for travelers seeking a quiet, safe, and nature-rich stay away from crowds. With some enhancements in housekeeping, room facilities, and food offerings, the experience could be even better.
