We recently visited Hotel Amar Vilas for dinner with family, and while the property itself is truly impressive, the dining experience was unfortunately quite disappointing.The hotel is aesthetically stunning ’ the moment you enter, the ambience and overall grandeur are simply ’WOW.’ The staff was also courteous, well-mannered, and attentive, which is exactly what you would expect from a premium property.However, the food was below ordinary. We ordered North Indian curries and breads, expecting authentic flavours, but the taste was quite underwhelming. Of course, taste can vary from one kitchen to another, so I would not make that the biggest issue.The major problem was the service and coordination from the kitchen. The curries and breads were not served together. At one point, we had finished one item and were waiting for the curry; at another, the curry was there but the breads were still not served. This completely disrupted the meal.For a property of this stature, such a basic aspect of dining service should be much better coordinated.Premium property, excellent ambience, courteous staff ’ but unfortunately, poor kitchen coordination and disappointing food service.Sadly, what should have been a pleasant family dinner was largely spoiled because of the dining experience. I sincerely hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously, because the property and staff have the potential to deliver a truly exceptional experience.

Beds are old and have worn out bedsheets we know it as we changed 2 rooms and all had same problem 2. No cleanliness at all everything was covered in dust, they said its because renovation but never mentioned renovation when we booked it 3. Bathroom lacked basic cleanliness tissue from previous checkin was still present in dustbin 4. Food was Meh at best
