Hotel Diplomat Residency

As I read some negative reviews about property, its difficult for me to spent a night there but we decided to stay for a night and it was wonderful experience there. Though there was some number of staff problem but they arrange everything we needed. Its a heritage property giving a royal feel. Mr. Abhishek and the person who was arranging the breakfast, both are literally awesome. Overall stay was good. Hope next time we find it well renovated.

All is Good. Food is awesome. Room Service is Very good. Staff is very polite and well mannered. They even arranged breakfast in early morning as per our requirement. Food was very good. I am a Tea Lover and tea was very good.

Completely disappointing and bogus experienceI recently stayed at Hotel Diplomat Residency and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff was extremely unprofessional’rude, unresponsive, and completely disinterested in helping guests. Basic requests were either ignored or met with attitude.From the moment we checked in, nothing worked properly. There was no hot water from the geyser despite multiple complaints, leaving us with cold showers in winter. The room blower (heater/fan) was also not functioning, making the stay uncomfortable.WiFi was advertised but simply did not work at all. I raised the issue several times with the front desk, but nothing was done’no technician came, no alternative was offered. It felt like they didn't care.Even something as simple as the complimentary water bottle promised in the room took countless calls and follow-ups to finally get delivered after hours of waiting.Overall, this place felt like a complete scam’promising basic amenities on their website but delivering nothing. Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you want frustration and discomfort. Total waste of money and a very bad experience.Would not recommend to anyone. 1 star is being generous.#Only_Electrician_was_so_helpfull

I had a really disappointing experience at Diplomat Residency, especially considering it’s a 3-star property and I had booked an Executive Room expecting at least basic standards.To begin with, the bathroom condition was very poor and unhygienic. It was not properly cleaned, the taps were leaking, there was no hot water, and basic toiletries were missing. There was no dental kit, no hand soap, and despite the room being booked for two people, only one towel was provided ’ not even an extra smaller one.The mini-fridge was not clean, and one of the electric sockets was burnt, which honestly felt unsafe. When I requested a room change, they showed me other rooms, but none matched the size or category of the Executive Room I had booked. Moreover, all the bathrooms had similar issues, and the rooms felt very dark and dull. The view from the room was also not good, though that was secondary ’ the lack of hygiene and basic amenities was the real concern.When we asked for the remaining towels, it took them almost three hours and multiple reminders to deliver them. For hot water, they finally provided it in a bucket, but the bathroom was so cramped that it was difficult to even place the buckets properly in the shower area. When I asked them to clean the bathroom, they simply wiped the floor with a mop, clearly just for formality. It didn’t feel cleaned at all.Overall, this stay did not feel like an Executive Room in a 3-star hotel. From a practical perspective, this place might be okay for boys or youngsters looking for a short 2’3 hour stay or just a place to hang out or drink, but it is not hygienic or comfortable for women. I would not recommend it for families or couples, especially when cleanliness and hygiene are important. The experience was far below what is promised on their website, and honestly, even very basic accommodations provide better service and cleanliness.

Hotel Diplomat Residency is conveniently located on Ayub Khan Rd, between the Old Bus Stand and Bareilly City Junction, making it easy to reach. The property offers good rooms and a favorable location; however, there are certain service-related areas that need improvement as well as the amenities.Upon arrival, I experienced difficulty locating my room (310), and there was no bellboy or staff available to assist with luggage or guide me to the room. Additionally, the room had limited electrical outlets, which made it inconvenient to charge both a mobile phone and a laptop simultaneously.The food quality is good, and the menu appears extensive. However, the actual availability of items is limited, as only Chinese and paneer dishes were offered. Requests for South Indian and other listed options were declined by the kitchen.Service responsiveness can also be improved. For example, my request to have the kettle replaced was not addressed for the first two days of my stay as well as the call response over EAPBX/Room Desk phone to Room Service/Housekeeping/Reception was some limited and extensive to their job related only and they just told me to call particular number only.Overall, while the hotel’s location and room quality are satisfactory, enhanced service support and improved amenities would significantly improve the guest experience.
