Hotel Grand Serene

Great place. Clean and spacious rooms. Good limited buffet breakfast. Super Lounge bar and food is very tasty. Location is very close to many local attractions like zoo, mysore palace etc. easy to get uber as well. Infant friendly.

Hotel is good,neat and clean.Front desk Associate Uma service was good and fast in room check in process. I appreciate her work. Breakfast spread is less,could be better. I recommend to maintain their cleanliness always like now in future.

The stay was extremely disappointing right from check-in till check-out.Firstly, the security staff parked our car in the basement and disappeared. Later, when we wanted to take the car out, another security staff simply asked us to go and get it ourselves from the basement as the security guy was not available.Secondly, there were no towels kept in the room, which is a very basic requirement for any hotel stay.The worst part, however, was the food quality. We ordered Masala Papad for lunch, and the masala served on top was cold, as if it had been taken straight from the refrigerator. It was shocking to see a hotel of this standard serving food like this. We still chose not to complain immediately, hoping the main course would be better, but it turned out to be equally disappointing. The rotis were extremely thick, and the mushroom gravy was watery and poorly prepared. It honestly felt like there was no concern for the quality of food being served or the impact it could have on customers’ health.Unfortunately, both of us had severe stomach upset afterward. After visiting the temple, we were forced to search for a good restaurant outside and finally had dinner at Hotel President, where the food was actually good and hygienic.This morning, we left the hotel without even having breakfast because we did not want to take any further risk.We have been visiting this hotel since the time it opened, but this has been our worst experience so far. It is very clear that the hotel has now compromised heavily on quality and service. Sadly, we would not visit again.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Grand Serenity Mysore’perfect for families! The location is a huge plus: the zoo is just 700 meters away, an easy walk, and Mysore Palace is only 2 km from the hotel. Plenty of nearby options for shopping, eateries, and attractions made exploring effortless.The accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained, making our stay truly enjoyable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to help. We loved the restaurant too’the food was delicious, flavorful, and hit all the right notes for Mysore cuisine.Overall, a great choice for a family trip in Mysore. Highly recommended!

Only complaint with hotel was that they didn't showed any mercy and charged exorbitant for additional guest due to the booking error from Agoda. Tried the hotel contact numbers more than 10 times before travelling but no one picked up the calls. Not professional.They knew we cannot cancel the booking and with children and family members we had no other options but to stay paying a good amount in extra. Even the front office staff didn't tried to take up the issue with higher official of the hotel even after our repeated request.
