I booked a Luxury Room at Hotel Hill Breeze, Yelagiri through Agoda, based on the information and reviews shown on the app. The property was listed with facilities such as complimentary breakfast, a children’s play area, good ratings, and positive guest feedback. I paid around 5,000 for one night, expecting a comfortable family stay.Unfortunately, the actual experience was completely different from what was advertised.The approach road to the property was in very poor condition, and there were hardly any proper street lights, making the area feel isolated and uncomfortable, especially at night.The property itself was poorly maintained. There is only one very small lift that can accommodate barely two people at a time. Since we were four people and our room was on the second floor, we had to use the staircase. The staircase was also very narrow. Interestingly, the hotel staff used the lift first and guests had to wait.I had specifically booked a Luxury Room, but the room provided initially had two beds, no air conditioning, a very small TV, and a poorly maintained bathroom. For 5,000, this was nowhere close to what I expected from a room advertised as “luxury.”When I went to the reception to raise the issue, I was shocked to learn that the restaurant had apparently been closed for around two months, despite breakfast being shown as an available facility on Agoda.There was no breakfast, no restaurant, and not even tea or coffee available at the property.After a lot of discussion, they eventually provided us with an AC room with one extra bed, but the room was extremely small and, in my opinion, still not worth the 5,000 I paid.There was also a constant unpleasant/stinky smell coming from the restaurant area, which made the stay even more uncomfortable.The children’s play area mentioned in the listing was also not available. The so-called free parking was simply an open space in front of the hotel.Major issues I faced:❌ Luxury room was not as advertised❌ No restaurant, despite breakfast being advertised❌ No complimentary breakfast❌ No tea or coffee available❌ No children's play area❌ Poorly maintained property❌ Very small lift – practically suitable for only two people❌ Narrow staircase❌ Poor approach road and inadequate street lighting❌ Badly maintained bathroom❌ Unpleasant smell from the restaurant area❌ Room quality did not justify the 5,000 priceWhat disappointed me the most was the huge difference between what was shown on Agoda and what was actually available at the property. The online listing and reviews gave us completely different expectations.I strongly feel that the hotel should update its online listing and clearly mention which facilities are currently unavailable, especially the restaurant, breakfast, and children’s play area.Based on my experience, I would not recommend Hotel Hill Breeze to families looking for a comfortable stay in Yelagiri. Please verify the current facilities directly with the property before booking.

Frequent power issue and no quick backup available. Bathroom seat was broken and was not replaced. First day, they bought breakfast from outside and it wasn't good. Next day they cooked and served and it was good. Not worth for the breakfast fee they charge.Most of the rooms were empty but in online it said all rooms booked.

No response from reception for any issues Water clogged everywhere in bathroom. It is constructed in such a way.TV was not working
