Very disappointing experience at Hotel Jai Maata Grandeur, Shivamogga. We ordered food expecting good quality, but unfortunately found insects inside the food, which is completely unacceptable and unhygienic. The taste of the food was also very poor and not worth the price at all.On top of that, the bill was extremely high for the quality and service provided. A restaurant should maintain basic cleanliness and food safety standards, but this experience was really shocking and ruined our visit.

Situated on a main road , adjacent to a supermarket which sells regular goods at very good prices. Rooms are comfortably spacious , reasonably well maintained and quite clean.Breakfast spread was OK. We didn't use the Room service and didn't have any other meal .Check in and check out were OK - the staff does what they are expected to do if you ask them - the service was just about OK.

Our recent stay at JMG Shimoga was quite good. We availed a family room for 2ppl. It was quite comfortable. Spacious room with TV, WiFi and room service.A restaurant on the ground floor was good too but the service was a tad slow and only North Indian available at night for dinner. Overall a good value for money decent hotel in Shimoga close to the railway station and some important attractions like zoo-safari and sakrebyle elephant camp.
