Hotel O SAMOTEL

As an American, one get used to being nickeled and dimed around Asia. This hotel is the worst. If that was the only issue, I could put up with it. As you can see from the pictures, it’s dirty and nasty and the receptionists attitude towards me was just as nasty as the hotel. 1. I asked for a clean towel and was told no 2. I mentioned the trash hasn’t been picked up for days and I was met with an attitude when I was simply trying to prevent roaches near my room3. Their are “ don’t bring outside food “ signs posted in every inch of the hotel. They also even say they will fine someone if they did. Simply mind blowing 4. I mentioned they I don’t enjoy Indian food and I would like to order out and was told “why should you not have to follow the rules” to which I responded…why is there even a rule like that in the first place. Traveling over Europe and Asia I’ve stayed at dozens probably hundreds of hotels and this was the first one that had an issue with my bringing food in. I pressed on and asked why the rule was implemented in the first place and was told that people bring in food from outside and make a mess. My room was sparkling clean (I cleaned it myself) and clearly that reason isn’t valid or make any sense I stayed for 30 days as I book hotels in month blocks for traveling based on reviews etc. how this place has any stars at all is amazing to me . The owner said he wouldn’t make me pay for ice … Ice… which by the way I asked another guest if HE had to pay for ice and he said no … Well when I was checking out the man at the counter (different from the owner) told me I have a “food bill” Maybe it’s me not being a local or this is just how they treat everyone. I wouldn’t stay again if you paid me .

Excellent hospitality and comfortable rooms

When entering into the premises Receptionist has ignored to check in becoz low price booking and asked me to pay extra amount but I didn't pay later she allowed me at 1 pm to room Normal check in time 12 pm When I entered room it was a petihic room condition with spited walls and washroom was full of water fungus scale bucket and plastic mug was very dirty Bedsheet was burnt with smoking customer In Two days stay no room cleaning after informing also and ignore to give bath towel alsoOverall I lost my money
