Hotel Park Plaza Ludhiana

The room we were alloted had insufficient lighting. The toilet wash basin was inapproriate and after hand or facewash water always logged and had to be poured with extra water to wash off. When I asked for a formal invoice from the hotel desk they said you will get it from this platform in a couple of days which i never rwceived. Why would this platform give a formal invoice when its simply a booking facilitator end service provider is actually the hotel where the guests stay so it was hotels reaponsibility to provide invoice there and then atbthe time of checkout.

Back in 2008... Park Plaza Ludhiana felt like a symbol of success I could not quite reach. I finally stayed there in early 2026... but it was a massive letdown. Spent 23 nights across 6 hotels in North India during January and February. Comparing them all... Park Plaza really fell short.The front desk staff make the first impression... and they wasted it completely. It felt like they were mentally writing their resignation letters instead of helping guests.The bathrooms are old and need work. For the price and reputation... having dated amenities is a bad look.The delivery process definitely needs an update. When we talk about deliveries, it isn't just about food... many hotels already handle this well. They set up a dedicated table or shelf near the security screening area so guests can come down and collect from there.Right now, guests have to walk all the way out to the footpath on the road just to grab their stuff.... that isn't a great look. This is probably one of the easier things to fix, so it's worth sorting out.The restaurant staff were actually great though. They were warm and professional... showing what the rest of the hotel could be.This place had every advantage with me... but they blew it. Will stay somewhere else next time unless they make some real changes.

If you are looking for a modern hotel experience this is not it. The management seems to be resting on their laurels while the property crumbles around them.The bathrooms were a huge letdown... they are old and need a total renovation. There was a dryer in the room... but it was so dirty and old I would not even touch it.That shows a real lack of housekeeping standards you just cannot ignore at a place like this. Noise was another big issue... I could hear guests shouting and drinking through the walls until after 1 AM.You cannot blame the hotel for everything people do... but the crowd a place attracts usually reflects the standards they enforce. The front desk staff did not seem to know what they were doing.The service felt outdated... and their training is definitely not up to 2026 standards. The weirdest part is the delivery policy... you have to go out to the footpath to get your items instead of the lobby or atleast security check point.That is unacceptable for a modern hotel and needs to change immediately. I hope they fix these issues.The potential is there... but they're wasting it by missing the basics. From what I've heard, the finances are in bad shape.... and it sounds like the current owner is just dragging it along.
