I recently booked a room for four people through Agoda, paying the full amount ten days in advance. Given the advanced notice and complete prepayment, I expected a seamless and professional experience. Instead, this stay was an absolute disaster and one of the worst hospitality experiences I have ever encountered.The utter lack of professionalism and deceptive management at this property are completely unacceptable. Here is a breakdown of the abysmal service:Unjustifiable Check-In Delays: Despite our prepaid reservation, we were forced to wait an agonizing two hours past the check-in time just to access our room. To add insult to injury, the staff completely failed at basic hospitality, not even offering a customary welcome drink during this extensive wait.Undisclosed Fees and Pool Extortion: The most infuriating aspect of this stay was the hotel’s ridiculous pool policy. Management enforces a rule where guests must either wear specific synthetic clothing or are strictly forced to rent the hotel's t-shirts and shorts at 100 per person just to access the pool. At absolutely no point during the booking process was this mandatory, extra charge communicated. I frequently stay at 3, 4, and 5-star properties, and this forced rental scheme is entirely unprecedented. It is not an industry standard; it is a blatant, hidden cash grab.Mediocre Accommodations: The room itself was strictly average. It was functional at best and nowhere near extraordinary enough to compensate for the atrocious service and hidden fees.Between the abysmal customer service, the extortionate hidden charges, and the sheer incompetence of the staff, I am led to strongly suspect that this hotel's positive online ratings are completely fabricated. I highly advise potential guests to avoid this property entirely until management overhauls its deceptive policies.
