Hotel River Retreat

We stayed in a cottage and had a very good experience. The kids’ area was well maintained and nicely arranged.The staff service was remarkable and the food was also very good. I would especially like to mention Raj Guleria from the service team, who was very helpful and supportive throughout our stay.

Had trusted them with my sister’s wedding.And I must say they did exceptionally good. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony and I was amazed to see such hospitality in our area. The staff was well behaved and soft spoken food was delicious rooms were spacious and the location was so serene that it was treat to the eyes. Lastly I thank each and everyone from river retreat for making my sister’s day amazing.

The location is absolutely beautiful ’ right by the river with peaceful mountain views that make waking up every morning a delight. The rooms were clean, comfortable and offered great views. The staff was warm, friendly and always ready to help, which made the experience even better.The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing ’ a perfect escape from city life. It’s a great place for both solo travelers and families, especially if you want to enjoy nature and serenity while still being close to Dharamshala’s key attractions. Highly recommended! ’’’’’

Stayed here for a week in the cottage with my pet dog. Absolutely amazing stay and a wonderful experience. The area was open and safe for my dog to run around and enjoy his time here as well!The view of the river and Dhauladhar right from the room and the deck was just mind blowing. We had amazing evenings with drinks and bonfire under the stars.The food was just lip smacking especially the chilli chicken, fish tikka, authentic kangri dhaam and the Khatta meat’’’’The service was quick and efficient and the staff was very courteous and made you feel like you’re right at home.The owner of the Hotel, Mr Raj Kapoor, ensures that your stay is absolutely comfortable and you enjoy every part of your hill station holiday.All in all, it was a 100/10 experience staying here and would highly recommend everyone to plan their stay with the Hotel River Retreat.Must say, this hotel beats some of the bigger well known properties in and around Dharamshala in every aspect ’’
