Family • India • Aug 2026I stayed at Alt Life Stays – Dharamkot McLeodganj for 3 nights (15–18 August 2026) during my first trip to Dharamkot, and the experience was genuinely memorable.The location is excellent — peaceful surroundings with a small natural water flow behind the property, while still being only around a 10-minute walk from the market, Tushita Meditation Centre and Dhamma Yoga. It was a very convenient location for exploring Dharamkot while enjoying a calm atmosphere.The biggest highlight, however, was the hospitality.Rahul, the manager, has a truly customer-centric approach and was very approachable and helpful. Sachin provided excellent service throughout my stay. A special appreciation to Rohit, who went above and beyond when I accidentally left some belongings at my previous property. He actually walked with me to the previous property to help me retrieve them. That was an exceptionally thoughtful gesture and something I will remember.Overall, my three-night stay added significantly to what was already a wonderful first experience of Dharamkot.Excellent location, peaceful surroundings and genuinely caring staff. Highly recommended.
