Alcohol consumption is permitted at the premises as per the property’s discretion and local laws. Outside alcohol consumption is not allowed in dorm rooms, bar, restaurant, and other common areas. However, it can be consumed in private rooms only.
Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry/stay at any of our hostels, with or without guardians. We do not recommend families.
Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the hostel campus.
In the event of an unpaid reservation, kindly contact the property within 24 hours of creating your booking to complete a 100% pre-payment. Failure to do so will result in an irreversible cancellation of your booking from our end.
Our standard check-in time is 01:00 PM and the standard check-out time is 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may also attract an additional fee at the property's discretion.

We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in.
We strictly DO NOT allow a group of more than 8 people. In case of a group of 3 or more, you might be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms. Further, if the group behaviour is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.
Due to a recent landslide, the approach road to the property is temporarily closed. Guests are required to walk approximately 1 km from the designated drop-off point. Our on-site team will be available to assist with luggage and guide guests to the property. Roadside parking is available; however, please note that vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
From Dharamshala airport (25 km, 1.5 hr): ~INR 1500 for a taxi to Zostel Plus Kareri.
From Dharamshala bus stand (23 km, 1 hr): ~INR 1500 for a taxi to Zostel Plus Kareri.
From Pathankot railway station (88 km, 3 hr): ~INR 3200 for a taxi to Zostel Plus Kareri.
To reach Zostel Plus Kareri, you first need to get to Dharamshala or Pathankot, and take a private taxi.
Please note that any changes in tax structure due to government policies will result in revised taxes, which will be applicable to all reservations and will be charged additionally during check out.
