Recently went with my family including my parents who were quite old. Approach of hotel is close to airport and on highway. Location is just near to River with decent access to river . Rooms were good very clean and with comfortable beds .Service was best part the front desk and room service was swift and polite. Restaurant staff was very helpful and food was very good . Boondi Kadi , Pahadi chicken was very nice. Even Tea was excellent.Lift in hotel was helpful to us as our parents mobility got very comfortable. We went for one day but then stayed for three days.It is a nice place for families who can sit together and spend comfortable time together. Garden , River and good food . Thanks to whole staff of River Retreat hotel for making this trip memorable.

There was q common door between our room and the next. There was q group there who made quite a racket most of the night including banging on the common door and talking loudly. It made it impossible to sleep

We recently organized our little one’s birthday party at River Retreat, Kangra, and it was truly one of the best experiences for us and all our guests. The property itself has the most breathtaking view in Kangra ’ such a peaceful and beautiful place for family celebrations.A very special thanks to Mr. Vijay, the manager, who handled everything so professionally and gracefully. From the very beginning till the end of the event, he ensured every arrangement was exactly as discussed and according to our requirements. What impressed us the most was his positive attitude and dedication. Even for our last-minute requests, he was always available with a smile and happily went out of his way to help us. His management skills, coordination, patience, and humble nature made the entire event smooth and stress-free for us.We would also like to specially mention Mr. Sanjay and his team, who took excellent care of all the arrangements during our little one’s birthday celebration. He supervised the catering and overall event services so efficiently and ensured everything was perfectly managed as per our expectations. The entire staff was extremely kind, polite, and caring towards all our guests.Coming to the food ’ it was absolutely delicious! The starters were simply outstanding and loved by everyone. The lunch service was equally amazing, with every dish full of taste and quality. And the desserts truly stole everyone’s heart.Thank you to the entire River Retreat team for making our little one’s special day so memorable and beautiful. Highly recommended for family functions, celebrations, and peaceful stays in Kangra!
