Hotel Sasthapuri

Before I booked, I called the hotel because Agoda showed a "1 person max" limit for a standard room, which is strange as most places allow two. I confirmed with the receptionist over the phone that for three people, I wouldn't need to pay extra.When I arrived, the room wasn't ready, so I asked to leave my luggage in the locker. When I returned from breakfast, my luggage was still sitting in the reception area unattended. The receptionist said he didn't move it because he thought I'd be back in 30 minutes.To make matters worse, they then tried to charge me an additional 1,000 INR for the extra people, totaling over 3,200 INR for a non-AC room. This contradicted what I was told on the phone. The room itself was okay, but one towel was stinking of old oil. Because of the pricing issues and service, I suggest looking for a different hotel.

The rooms are spacious, neat, and clean. However, there is a noticeable odour that becomes more apparent upon entering. Amenities are satisfactory. Breakfast doesn’t have a large variety, but the available menu items are decent and satisfying. The room facing the road was a bit noisy because of the nearby fruit market. It may get busy and loud, especially during early hours.

Located right near palayam bus stand. Location is great. Rooms are decent although a bit old. There is a bar beneath which can cause some disturbance due to the crowd and song. But overall a decent place for the location and money

It took almost 45 minutes just to get the noodles, and another 30 minutes for the rest of the food. When I tried calling the staff, they refused to come. The service was extremely poor and disappointing’if you cannot provide proper service, it’s better not to take orders.The food was not good over oil and Chapathi was harder than rock’’ and chiken varuth aracha cury was chiken varuth karichaaa cury, not at all good, waste of money’’.
