Hotel Tapovan

A good hang out place..may not be suitable for GenZ and family but certainly for a group of friends. Descent food, ample space, no noise. Cost for 2 will be around 1200/-

I recently visited Tapovan Restaurant and Hotel, and honestly, the experience was so unexpectedly good that I felt like writing a proper, detailed review. Usually when you visit a restaurant or lodge, you go with basic expectations’good food, okay ambience, and normal service. But Tapovan turned out to be much more than that. It wasn’t just a normal dine-out; it felt like a small getaway tucked inside the city, where everything’from the ambience to the staff to the cottages’felt thoughtfully crafted.The moment I entered the Tapovan premises, the first thing I noticed was how peaceful and open the whole place felt. Wide entrance, greenery around, fresh air, and a calm vibe that immediately puts your mind at ease. Mujhe literally woh feeling aa gayi ki haan, today is going to be a good experience. What impressed me instantly was the parking space. Many restaurants struggle with proper parking, but Tapovan has a big, spacious area where you can easily park without stress. And the best part is, the place is wheelchair accessible. This shows how thoughtful the owners are because not every restaurant, lodge or resort pays attention to accessibility. Wide ramps, smooth pathways, and open walking space make it extremely easy for elderly or specially-abled guests to move around comfortably. These small details really elevate the whole experience.But the part I was most excited about even before entering the dining area was the cottages. I had heard that Tapovan had beautiful cottages, so I was very curious to see them in real. When I finally walked towards the cottages, that excitement doubled because they genuinely looked aesthetic and vintage, like something out of a peaceful weekend getaway. Wooden doors, warm yellow lights, rustic textures, stone paths, and that old-school charm that instantly makes the place feel special. The cottages aren’t cramped or modern in a soulless way. Instead, they have this cozy, earthy, warm vibe that feels comforting and aesthetic at the same time. Aap bas andar jaate hi relax ho jaate ho. The smell of fresh linen, the soft lighting, the wooden d??cor, everything felt thoughtfully designed. The cottages are spaced apart properly which means privacy milta hai, noise nahi hota and you actually feel like you’re staying at a nature retreat rather than a lodge attached to a restaurant. For couples, families, solo travellers, and even for creative people looking for peace or content creators wanting aesthetic shots, these cottages are perfect.

We had booked the Room and there was some miscommunication because of which they didn't confirm our booking.Rooms were very dirty, it wasn't sufficient for 2 people to sleep. Worst part was the beds and the blankets were stinking. We had to empty our deodorants just so that we could manage to sleep. We had double sharing and triple sharing rooms, both were very small. Overall other than being at a decent location i don't see anyother reason to book this hotel

Good ambience. Excellent food.Ample space around. Only rooms are so so. Not so clean and smelly.

The hotel is located in a prime area with easy access to nearby attractions. Parking facilities are very well managed, and the room rates are quite reasonable. However, the rooms could use some renovation to improve the overall comfort and experience. With a few updates, this place could be even better.
