The Gateway Hotel Ambad (A Taj Hotel)

Wonderful birthday lunch for my wife! We went with our family and ordered in the panchratna speciality restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great and personalized. The chef prepared a special paneer dish for my 5 year old daughter who won't eat anything else without us saying anything! Mostly the experience was great.Only two things which could improve and which i expected out of the best brand in india -1. It was hard to decide on a dish. Why no digital menu where we could actually see the dish photos to decide faster and more? We ended up ordering just enough and probably could have ordered more if we could see the dishes!2. People helped reluctantly when we asked for a group photo, there were no specific spots to do so or create a memory. This was a little off putting and could be looked into.All in all, a 9.5 out of 10 experience!

Aare huzoor, wah Taj boliye. This was mine and for some of us, a first stay in a 5-star and what better could it be when it has the history and legacy of the Tatas behind it. I was given an additional bed, a very comfortable mattress, pillow and blanket. Extra toiletries and towels were thougtfully provided. The property is excellent and the more I can compliment the staff, the less it will. We received full assistance for our luggage, check-in and check-out and patient and kind behaviour for our queries and photo-ops(ladies do love to be framed, literally. We enjoyed our timeout in the pool and jacuzzi, soft melodious notes during the dusk and morning. Kindly convey my regards to the two highly talented flautists. I wish the team and staff of Gateway Nashik all the best.

One of the outlets of Taj even had a great ambience and a large property for taking photos and enjoying your stay. The only disappointing thing was the food, which could be improved to match the 5-star level. More options on the buffet menu and more activities could be added, such as clay-making, canvas painting, pottery, jewellery-making, disco night, etc. Overall, my experience was 3.5/5.
