Given the price we paid, the room quality was quite poor, and the food was honestly very disappointing. The checkout process was especially frustrating. They enforce a strict 12 PM checkout time, and when we asked for just a 30-minute extension, they refused outright with no flexibility. Since check-in is at 3 PM, this policy seems unreasonable, particularly for such a small extension request. The staff were also not very polite or friendly, sometimes showing a clear arrogance that seemed linked to being part of the Sula brand. Overall, the stay was unsatisfactory and did not justify the cost. I would avoid staying at any other Sula properties and would not recommend them to others.

The property was lovely, well maintained and peaceful. The garden view room we stayed in was spacious and well maintained. It was clean and neat. The Spa and massage services were outstanding. However, there were a few hiccups that seemed unnecessary - 1. There’s no mini fridge in the room, and no way to cool your wine or beverages if you want to. After a lot of convincing and calling multiple times, we got them to send over an ice bucket. 2. There’s nothing much to do on the property apart from enjoy your room or go to the swimming pool. A small games room or some other entertainment could have been made. The pool too could have been better maintained. 3. Service at the restaurant and when ordering at the pool or room was quite slow. This needs to be worked on. Overall, we had a really nice, relaxing stay at The Haven by Sula. Would surely recommend it for a slow, relaxing weekend trip with the family!

Overall, the experience was positive. The location is great, with nearly all rooms offering a lake view. The rooms are spacious and appear nice. The in-house dining is good, though the menu is limited and expensive. The road leading to the resort is in very poor condition.
