Freesia Resort by Express Inn

Stayed at this resort which is just adjacent to Sula Wines - super convenient location. It's an ideal place for families looking for a relaxing stay. They have a lovely pool, a dedicated kids play area, and a huge green lawn where kids can run around freely. The restaurant food was absolutely amazing and the staff is extremely courteous and helpful throughout the stay.Overall, we had a very good experience. One small area of improvement could be bathroom sanitation - it wasn't bad, but could definitely be better.Would recommend for a peaceful weekend stay!

A very disappointing stay for our 10th anniversaryWe booked a Meadows Cottage at Freesia Resort to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, but unfortunately, the experience was frustrating and felt like poor value for the money we paid.We had split our anniversary trip between two resorts. The first property made the occasion special with a complimentary upgrade, towel art and a pastry. At Freesia, when we asked whether they offered any complimentary anniversary gesture, we were told it would be chargeable. While such gestures are entirely optional, the problems with basic facilities and service that followed were far more disappointing.• Parking: Despite valet parking being available, we were refused the service on arrival.• Non-functioning AC and poor resolution: The AC in our Meadows Cottage was not working. We complained twice, but the maintenance visits did not resolve the issue. When I went to reception for an update, I was simply told they would let us know. Eventually, we were offered another room as an “upgrade.” Thankfully, we asked to inspect it before moving our luggage—the AC in that room was not working either! We returned to our original cottage, where my husband tried adjusting the AC himself and eventually managed to get it working.• Room amenities: There was no mini-fridge in the cottage, which was disappointing for a property of this kind.• Sharp bed edges: The bed had sharp edges, and both my husband and I hurt ourselves while getting on or off it. This needs attention.• Water interruption: The water supply stopped midway through my shower, adding to an already frustrating stay.• Pool depth and shaky stairs: The main pool appeared to start at approximately 5.5 feet, while the children’s pool appeared to be around 3.5 feet deep. We found the depth uncomfortable for a relaxed swim. The pool stairs were also shaky and felt as though they might break when used, which made us feel unsafe. These issues prevented us from enjoying the pool as we had hoped. What should have been a memorable anniversary stay became a series of complaints and inconveniences. Working air conditioning, an uninterrupted water supply, safe furniture and responsive service are basic expectations.Overall, this was one of our most disappointing stays. We left feeling that the experience did not justify the money spent, and based on our visit, I would not recommend this property.

We really never expected such a nice establishment - starting from the receiving staff at reception.Surrounding is also beautiful well arranged. Room is also very nice, ambience was also great. We had the opportunity to have our Lunch in the restaurant. Staff there was also very much cooperative. Hospitality overall was great. We really recommend others to experience there stay in the same resort.
