This hotel misled us with its name The Grand, which makes it appear like a professionally run hotel. In reality it's a property run by people who operate Jabalpur's wedding banquets for the specific class of local traders/rich people. When you pay Rs.3000+ in a small town like Jabalpur, you expect an above average property. It's the opposite. When we checked in, the room allotted to us had hair on the bed covers and on the floor. We complained and they transferred us to another room. Here, the bathroom had urine on the floor and it was smelly. We complained ahain and they cleaned it. We still found hair on the sheets. The housekeeping staff is made of untrained household maids. The head of housekeeping rushed to us to explain that a large wedding party had just evacuated the rooms. It was clear that the bed covers were just reused and not changed, hence the hair from previous users were still there. They had a kettle but no tea/coffee. First they told us that they didn't provide tea bags/coffee pouches, and then they turned up with some supplies. Despite couple booking, they had only one towel in the room. We had to ask for another towel and a hand towel. The morning breakfast, for which we had prepaid, was served in our room (idli sambar and toast) after several reminders and delays. The restaurant is 300 meters away from the property - for dinner we had to walk so much two way late in the night. We checked out after one night though our booking was for two nights. The GM Om Prakash Singh promised that we could have a compensatory stay of one night after 2/3 days as we would be passing by the city again, but when we were coming back, he stopped taking out calls. When we reached there, the owner demanded another Rs.2,500 to provide us that compensatory stay. Avoid at all costs.

Very bad service don't even respond to any complaint

Thee property is nice, but its in a kind of industrial area, we had quite a disturbance, as there was marriage.Staff was quite helpful.Rooms & bathroom are a bit old, but its okay for a small stay.Food not available at property, neither you get room service, you need to walk a bit.
