Imarat Hotel

Standard rooms are very tiny, so be sure to check the square footage before reserving. Deluxe rooms are excellent. The hotel is conveniently situated if you plan to use public transportation.

Go to this place if you want to be disappointed. I was willing to pay a premium rate above the market average, but the actual state of this hotel was unacceptable.The Reality: The room had a foul-smelling dustbin we had to put outside, and a large visible blood stain on the bedsheet. Additionally, the room was very small and the ventilation was extremely poor, with no open spaces to even open a window for fresh air. It was nothing like what I saw on Google maps.The Hotel: It had dead bugs, and seemed poorly maintained. The sofas also had stains. In general, the hotel had a shady vibe.Management's Response: I asked for clean bedding, and they showed me 5 to 6 alternative rooms. Shockingly, they did not seem to have clean sheets anywhere’every single room had dirty linen. Instead of apologizing, staff acted like I was fussing over minor details.The Environment: The entire hotel was completely empty’not a single other guest was staying there’which makes the lack of even one clean, well-ventilated room baffling.The Deposit Issue: We left after just 2 hours due to the abysmal hygiene. Despite this, management refused to refund my deposit (or a part of it), using our 4:00 AM arrival to justify keeping it.Keeping a deposit for a 2-hour stay that failed basic sanitary and ventilation standards is unacceptable. Avoid this place’the premium price tag is a scam.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was courteous and always ready to help. Perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature with family and friends. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Coorg!
