SUPER IMP THINGS TO NOTE1. This looks and feels like a lodge2. No lift and super narrow stairs to go to room or reception3. Your staff is all in one : housekeeping , bathroom cleaning , cook everything is same 2 ladies4. BREAKFAST is idli ,dosa and bread.. every single day. We decided not to eat idli after returning from vacation for good 15 days5. It's a prime location - most tourist attractions near beach is at walkable distance.. a big plus

Horrible stay. There were cockroaches in the room. No room service was available at all, there is only 1 staff member (receptionist) available. Towels given to us were dirty and torn. bedding was dirty. There was no hot water as well. The geyser did not work at all, inspite of informing the receptionist thrice during our 2-day stay. Really horrible. Not worth your money, we paid 5k per night and this was our experience.

The location of the property is the main advantage. All main spots within touching distance. The behaviour of the staffs were also very good. Only downside is the breakfast menu options but its manageable. You can also get two wheelers on rent from the property.

Itsy Red Lotus is located on Jawaharlal Nehru Street, one of Puducherry’s main stretches, making all the major attractions in the French Town easily walkable. The hotel is well-maintained, and each room comes with its own unique theme, adding a charming touch to the stay. The only drawback is the absence of a lift, which may not be ideal for elderly guests. Apart from that, it’s a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
