The JW can actually stand for Just Wonderful !! (Though it stands for John wilperd) . Excellent staff , warm hospitality and a personalised touch ! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and have a very warm vibe . The pool is the highlight for me (this has been my second visit here ) and the spa is exceptional. What the hotel can improve upon is the Indian cuisine ! Though continental , Chinese and Italian are very good , there seems to be immense room of improvement for the Indian cuisine. A pastry chef has done an excellent job. One last thing that did get registered - the GM Mr Himanshu could do better if he smiles !! There’s a very stoic almost grumpy look that’s the pilar opposite of the rest of the staff . Try smiling Mr Himanshu

We just came back from a stay at the JW Marriott in Goa, India, and were impressed from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, and our rooms were fantastic. We really enjoyed the spa and Neon, the arcade. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. We loved dining at Pergola and Heliconia. However, the best part was the staff. Everyone, from the security personnel and greeters to the waiters, bellboys, Neon and spa staff, housekeepers, and pool attendants, was extremely helpful and courteous. The service exceeded our expectations. I want to highlight a few who made our stay extra special. Mary at Pergola was very kind and always greeted our children by name. The greeters, Rachael and Andrea, were very friendly. Moni, who checked us in, was welcoming. The waiters at JW restaurant—Sonal, Naman, and Soni—were very attentive and ensured our elderly parents were comfortable. The Neon staff, especially Angelica, were wonderful with our kids. The spa team who performed our hammam treatment were excellent. We had a lovely dinner at Heliconia with a fantastic waitress and enjoyed a nice conversation with the chef. Our concierge, Steven, truly went above and beyond by recommending an amazing restaurant for my husband’s birthday that we wouldn’t have found on our own. The food and music were fantastic, and he arranged for the staff to bring a cake and the band to sing happy birthday, making it a memorable night. We are very grateful to him. Thank you for an amazing trip!

What really makes a difference is the outstanding service. The staff are sincerely friendly, modest, and always welcoming. They greet guests warmly and promptly help with any needs, making you feel appreciated throughout your visit. The ambiance is calm yet vibrant, ideal for couples, families, and business travelers alike. Its prime location close to Anjuna and Vagator beaches is a bonus. In summary, JW Marriott Goa offers a luxurious stay with exceptional hospitality, great cuisine, stunning views, and flawless service. It comes highly recommended for anyone traveling to North Goa.

During our interaction, Sharron Pinto was very dismissive when we reported an issue with our room and rude at check-in, offering no help when we requested basic assistance. Rather than addressing our problem, they displayed a total lack of hospitality. As paying guests at a 5-star hotel, we expected a friendly, solution-oriented approach, but this person made our stay very uncomfortable. Due to this experience and the team's indifference, we will not return to this hotel and cannot recommend it to others. Essentially, new employees should not have to endure this kind of hospitality; experienced staff should handle such situations.
