So much close to nature and gifted with calmness and rich heritage legacy ; this proved to be the best of holiday spots for us , a group of twenty around new year. Martin and family treated us as their extended family and were always keen on our comfort. Traditional Kerala cuisine choices were wide spread and delicious. Various water sport activities like kayak and speed boat rides topped the warmth. We need not think twice to recommend this and also come back for another serene detox time.

Kallupurackel House is an excellent choice for anyone looking to detox from the hectic routine of daily life. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights and truly enjoyed every moment.The authentic Kerala style food, serene ambience, and warm hospitality made our stay special. A special shout out to the host, Mr. Martin, and his son Antony, who were always attentive and ensured all our requirements . We had thoroughly enjoyed Kayaking & speed boat travel arranged by our host .Altogether, it was a memorable New Year get together that we will cherish.

We booked this property 4 days in advance for a 2-night New Year stay and even confirmed check-in by phone on the morning of arrival. Despite this, when we reached the property at 9:00 PM, we were informed that the accommodation was not available due to a film shoot.This information was never communicated in advance. Instead, we were asked to stay at the owner’s brother’s house located 5 km away, which was not what we booked or agreed to.The owner redirected us to Lex Stays, the management company, but their response was equally unprofessional. They suggested we stay at an alternate location and offered a complimentary breakfast at the original property as compensation.For a New Year booking, this level of mismanagement and lack of transparency is unacceptable. Please be cautious before booking this property.
