Kalpavanam Heritage Resort

I spent one night here with my family, and our stay was wonderful. The resort is well kept in the hills and offers all the essential facilities we required. Kudos to the front desk team, Bobby and Sachin, for their polite and professional service. The buffet breakfast was delicious, though the selection was somewhat limited.

Sachin is a wonderful caretaker. He assisted us in obtaining tickets to the martial arts show. We stayed during Christmas, and he kindly offered us a tasty homemade plum cake at no cost. I am very grateful for his warm hospitality. The property is great and situated in a prime location. I would love to stay here again if I visit Thekkady.

Ideal for group travelers, this place offers affordable accommodation, delicious breakfast, and a tranquil environment. It's eco-friendly and located amidst a cardamom plantation.

Charming location with very nice rooms, although they are beginning to look a bit worn. Service was difficult to obtain since there were no phones in the rooms, and the place seemed seriously understaffed. There were no proper food choices for lunch and dinner, but breakfast was excellent with a limited, repetitive menu featuring plenty of fresh produce. I could recommend it if they improve, especially by hiring more staff. Personally, I won't take that chance again.
