KTDC Ripple Land, Alappuzha

KTDC Ripple Island offers a tranquil retreat in Alleppey, located conveniently on the Trivandrum–Alleppey Highway. This government-run property is nestled in nature and close to the beach, providing lovely views. Be aware that ongoing major National Highway construction nearby leads to heavy evening traffic, so plan your arrival accordingly. The hotel serves authentic Kerala-style meals, including fresh fish, ideal for a nutritious diet. However, menu choices might be limited due to local LPG supply issues, so it's advisable to confirm with the staff. The rooms are clean, well-kept, and come with intercoms. High-speed Wi-Fi is available for light work or leisure. Boating services are offered—check with reception to arrange a session. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Given that many local restaurants are currently closed or unlisted, this KTDC property stands out as a dependable and peaceful option, with the nearby beach making it especially worthwhile.

The front office staff gave a bad experience, but everything else was fine.

I liked my stay at Ripple Land; the only issue was that the breakfast did not meet my expectations, but everything else was good.

Ripple Land is among the top KTDC hotels situated in Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha, near the Kochi - Kanniyakumari Highway. The staff are very helpful and welcoming to tourists. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and tidy, equipped with AC. Complimentary breakfast is included in the room rate. There is a large parking area available. We stayed for two nights, and when we were about to pay extra food charges, the female staff member mentioned she couldn't accept cash and asked us to pay online. We paid the remaining amount via Gpay, but due to poor internet connection, her confirmation was delayed, causing a 30-minute wait. Although it was a minor issue, overall the service was excellent. Hopefully, they will fix the connectivity problems in the future.

We had breakfast there and it was nice. The cost is somewhat steep, but the service and everything else were satisfactory. There is also a spacious parking lot available.
