LA SELVA Resort, Pench National Park

Our time at La Selva Resort was among the best hospitality experiences we've ever encountered. Right from arrival, the kindness, meticulous attention, and sincere care from the owners, Ankit and Raju, made our visit truly memorable. The resort itself is stunning — set within the jungle, serene, thoughtfully crafted, and ideal for a wildlife retreat. Every part of the stay felt intimate and carefully planned. The food was tasty, nourishing, and evidently prepared with great care. It's clear why many guests return — we will certainly be back. Out of all the places we've visited, La Selva Resort ranks at the top for its hospitality, authenticity, and heartfelt welcome.

We arrived with high hopes, and that turned out to be our biggest error! We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it couldn't have gone worse. The place is mostly made of wooden planks. Near the pool, my friend slipped off a plank and got seriously hurt. Thanks to La Selva, it was an unforgettable evening for all the wrong reasons. The resort badly needs maintenance. Book at your own risk! The AC units were terrible, leaking inside the room and not cooling properly. We didn't even think about taking photos after such a disappointing experience. I'm giving two stars only because the resort covered the medical expenses and gave us a discount as an apology. That's all.

Delicious cuisine and pleasant atmosphere

My stay at La Selva Resort, Pench was truly wonderful! From arrival to departure, everything went beyond what we hoped for. The resort is beautifully designed and set in a peaceful natural environment. The rooms and grounds were impeccably clean and well kept. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job ensuring our comfort throughout our visit. The food was outstanding, offering a wide selection with delicious tastes in every dish. The team was especially kind, polite, and always ready to assist with a friendly smile. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome and cared for. The location is ideal for visitors to Pench, providing a calm setting while still being convenient. Every aspect, from the atmosphere to the service, showed high quality. Many thanks to everyone at La Selva Resort for making our trip unforgettable. I had an amazing experience and look forward to returning. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a perfect retreat!

Advertised as a luxury resort, but nothing about the stay lived up to that claim except for the location. All the bathrooms in the rooms were dirty at check-in and needed cleaning twice. Shower gel and shampoo bottles were not replenished. The swimming pool had algae on the walls and floor. The food was below average.
