I recently stayed at Le Meridien in Kochi for a week with my wife and 2 year old son, it was originally only meant to be a 3 day stay but we decided to extend for reasons I will explain. So the hotel itself is very clean and well maintained, although a little dated. The kids play area is a little lacking and could be improved, the pool is nice and gardens are kept well. The room was fairly spacious and cleaned to a good standard, not the nicest place I've ever stayed in but nice overall.However the reason I am happy to give this hotel stay a definite 5/5 was really down to the staff. Every member of staff that we encountered really went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as they could, they also made it feel alot more genuine and personal than your average hotel staff stopping to chat and getting to know us during our stay. Whether it be the luggage handlers, the reception staff, the cleaners, restaurant staff, chefs, guys at the pool and bar staff.The food was also fantastic with a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes, I liked how they didn't just cater to westerners which I see far too often. We're coming from the UK but my wife and I enjoy trying different cuisines and there was so much on offer. We loved all the Indian food as well as the more familiar things, it might have taken a few days to explore a little but by the end of the week we were enjoying amazing chicken curry, masala dosas and parathas for breakfast. My son however is very fussy with what he eats but the chefs were more than happy to prepare individual meals just for him. After our stay in India we went on to stay in a 5* in the Maldives and then at a 5* Hilton in Dubai, the food in Le Meridien Kochi was far superior than both of these other places.We also paid for access to the lounge which was great, the staff really warmed to my son and were happy to play with him and keep him occupied giving my wife and I a chance to finally relax and enjoy a couple of drinks and nibbles before dinner, it was also a nice relaxing atmosphere to chat to other guests at the hotel.After 3 days we moved to a different hotel which was more central, we were meant to stay there for our remaining time in Kochi but after just one night we decided to go back to Le Meridien as we liked it so much.Only on our last day I managed to take note of a few staff names worth mentioning:ThasleemaKhusbuRaphiRakeshSunilRajeshCriticalDeepakPradeepSafnashKentLaxmanThere were many more who deserve credit but I unfortunately didn't get their names.My wife and I have travelled extensively over the years and have stayed in many 5* hotels and resorts and this experience will definitely be a memorable one. I was also told when leaving that they have an extensive refurbishment planned in the near future, if we ever return to Kochi I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I recently stayed at Le M??ridien Kochi and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property is beautifully located by the backwaters, offering calm and scenic views that instantly make you feel relaxed. The lobby is spacious and elegant, and the check-in process was smooth and professional.The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. I especially loved the large windows with water views and the cozy bedding. The housekeeping team did a great job of keeping everything spotless throughout the stay. The amenities provided were thoughtful and added to the overall comfort.The breakfast buffet had an excellent spread with both local Kerala dishes and international options. Everything was fresh and well presented. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and courteous, making sure guests were well taken care of.The hotel also has great facilities including a swimming pool, fitness center, and event spaces. It’s a perfect choice for family stays, business trips, or even weddings and conferences.Overall, Le M??ridien Kochi offers a blend of luxury, comfort, and warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kochi for a relaxing and premium stay experience.

Le M??ridien Kochi made our stay truly unforgettable, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. What stood out the most was the genuine care shown by every single member of staff, from check-in to the concierge to the restaurant team. Everyone was warm, friendly, and went above and beyond.My daughter wasn't feeling well during our stay, and the team's kindness was beyond anything we expected. They thoughtfully sent kanji for her and kept checking in on her wellbeing throughout our stay. It felt less like a hotel and more like being looked after by family.The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and it perfectly matches the warmth of the people who work there. Special thanks to Anitta and Alvino for their exceptional hospitality, you both truly made a difference and we will always remember your kindness.We felt so well taken care of and will absolutely return.
