We had a very mixed experience at Madras Chronicle Bay Resort & Spa. While the receptionists were helpful and did a great job, the overall hospitality needs major improvement.We had a bad experience with luggage handling, as no staff came to assist us with our bags during check-in or checkout. We booked a beach-view room for a relaxing getaway, but a loud musical event when we arrived completely disrupted our peace. Furthermore, the beach is quite far away and completely inaccessible—you can only look at it from a distance.The resort has no games or entertainment activities besides the swimming pool. Lastly, the food was the worst part of our stay and desperately needs improvement; you simply cannot find a good meal here.
