Good foodPolite and tourist friendly staffI stayed in 406 , the bed spread had torn areas, the towel had Patches.Complimentary water bottle in the room were the smallest bottles ( not enough given the chennai climate) Beach is visible form room not nearby , no direct access..The money charged for the two day stay was premium but the room experience was not a premium experience.

Had a wonderful stay at Grand Continental Hotel. The food was excellent, and the location was very convenient. The rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained. The swimming pool was also very good and added to the overall experience.Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Great Location, Service can be improved

Great Location with all attractions close by. Access to the nearby village beach is the highlight. Clean beach with not much crowd around.Rooms are spacious but unfortunately we faced an AC issue in the night. Staff checked said issue is fixed but AC still didnt work. Shifted to another room at 10 PM and AC didnt work there either. I had to go down to reception and ask for a pedestal fan, which also stopped working after 10 mins. So had to change to another room again at 11.30 PM. This was the major issue we faced. While the night staff was able to give us a room, the lack of any ackowledgement of this issue or some sort of apology from the front desk or duty manager the next morning was surprising. No one from Hotel reached out to ask about it. While checking out they still billed us to a different room which included a food bill. This shows the lack of handover from night shift to morning shift. After I highlighted, they just said nothing to pay and checked us out after saying "What do you expect us to say".Food at the buffet was good. Parking and wait staff were polite and friendly. No Food/Refreshement service to the Rooftop pool is a let down. WIFI was fine.
