MPT Champak Bungalow

Pachmari and Champak bungalow make a perfect pair. Located in a quiet and serene area, the property provides an excellent hill station experience. Every meal was tasty. The resort staff is courteous and supportive. We opted for the Lake view room, which gives a stunning view of Champak lake. If Pachmari is the top destination, then Champak is the top resort to stay at.

The property is wonderful, but the rooms are missing essential amenities. There was no handwash gel available, the water pressure was very low, and there were water problems. The bedsheet and cover were not clean. During dinner, the music was played at a very loud volume, which was overwhelming for children. It's a great property but not properly managed.

Managed efficiently by MPTDC, this property is surrounded by lush greenery, making it an ideal retreat for those wanting to escape the noise and hectic pace of life. It's perfect for a digital detox. The food was excellent during my visit, and the catering head kindly accommodated my requests for some special dishes. The rooms are spacious and evoke a colonial-era ambiance with white and teakwood decor. Once you stay here and learn how to fully enjoy the property, you'll understand why it is often fully booked. Some housekeeping improvements could be made, but they are not a major issue. If you appreciate sleeping, eating, recharging, and enjoying peaceful nature, a visit to Champak Bungalow is a must.
