Narayana Sanctuary Resort by SALVUS

The hotel is situated in a very convenient spot, near the bus station and just a brief walk to the main road. The staff are courteous, accommodating, and promptly supplied warm water during the chilly weather. The vegetarian dishes served in the restaurant are fresh and delicious. I also appreciated the beautiful mountain view from my room in the morning. All in all, it is a cozy and inviting place for both pilgrims and travelers. I rate it a strong four stars.

Pleasant location

Unfortunately, our stay at Narayan by Salvia was extremely disappointing.The staff appeared to have very little knowledge about the property or how to resolve guest issues. Instead of helping us, Ms. Sangeet was extremely rude and simply told us to cancel our booking and get a refund from Agoda rather than trying to addressp our concerns.The room and facilities were also poorly maintained:There was a dead rat on the balcony.Monkeys were entering the pool area, yet guests were never informed. We only found out after seeing them ourselves, and one monkey even attempted to attack us, which was a serious safety concern.The TV was not working.The refrigerator was broken.Even the air conditioner could not be properly explained or operated by the staff.Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, safety concerns, and unprofessional customer service made this one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. I would not recommend staying here unless there are significant improvements in both the property's upkeep and staff training.

They charge more than the MRP prices, like Bisleri water bottles at 30/- plus GST, and when I asked, they said it's taxes and I have to pay. The room was very bad, small and of the worst quality, very tiny rooms they call luxury. The staff behaved very badly, especially the manager who was very rude. The sales team didn't respond properly. We booked through the sales team and the pictures showed very good rooms, but in reality, the condition was very poor. The room had dampness, making it hard to breathe properly. I booked for 3 days and arrived at 10:30 pm. When we complained about the small room and other issues, the manager told us to check out immediately. I was with my two little girls, 5 months and 3 years old, and had already paid in advance, but they refused to refund my money. So I had to stay that night but checked out the next morning. They charged me 10,000/- per night for that tiny room, which is not worth it. Regarding food, at breakfast all options were cold, the AC in the food area was off, and when I asked to turn it on, they said it was not necessary. The staff's behavior was very bad. Everything was overpriced, like the water bottle with an MRP of 20/- charged at 30/- plus GST, and when I asked about the overcharge, they said it's their rate and I have to pay. I will not recommend anyone to book this resort ever. It was supposed to be a birthday celebration for my girl, but it turned out to be a very bad experience in my life.
