Noxx Residency

I had a wonderful meal at North Indian restaurant last night. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan, and both were outstanding. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and flavorful, while the naan was fresh, soft, and had a perfect hint of garlic. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great suggestions from the menu.

Location is good , on road with plenty of parking spaces .Restaurant and Food : Good Restaurant and food variety.Along with that taste is also very good .Freshly prepared food with good presentation.Service : is also okay and can improve.Rooms: This feedback is of 2 parts1st they gave room on 2nd floor and it was stingy , rusty and difficult to breath as well .After many persuasive efforts they shifted to 4th Floor there rooms was good , However smaller than the earlier.They told that because of leakage in one room at 2nd floor the water logged and the rooms of 2nd floor were stingy and messy.Rooms are with Electric Kettle and Tea Coffee sachets.Rest good place to stay .

The condition of the bathroom was very poor. The shower head, the taps and the jet sprays were not working properly. Even the water comes out of the toilet while flushing.The room was not ready during the check in time and they asked me to wait for around an hour but while checking out I asked them that I want to retain the room for an hour more and will pay extra. Initially they agreed but after 15 mins they called me and asked me to check out immediately saying they do not have extension option. Literally I stay in Noxx everytime I visit Howrah but this puja time, their behaviour was very rude.

Review of Noxx Hotel1. Location Issue (Major Concern):The hotel is extremely hard to locate.Neither auto drivers nor Rapido/taxi drivers had heard of this place.Even though the map showed around 4 km, the actual location was hidden inside narrow lanes, which made reaching there very frustrating.This caused a lot of stress and wasted our time.2. First Impression of the Property:The entrance floor was broken and looked badly maintained.Wallpapers/paint were peeling off.The corridor was in pathetic condition, and on top of that, it smelled of cigarette smoke, making it very unpleasant.3. Room Condition:The room floor was wet when we entered.Walls and furniture were damp with seelan (moisture smell everywhere).The atmosphere was very uncomfortable and unhygienic.4. Facilities:The AC remote was not working, and the AC was stuck at one temperature.Water supply in the washroom was broken.No latch inside the room, which made us feel unsafe during the night.5. Misleading Photos:The pictures shown online are completely different from reality.The property looks good in photos, but in reality, it is poorly maintained and very disappointing from the inside.6. Overall Experience:The biggest problem is the location and accessibility.Poor maintenance, cigarette smell in the corridor, damp rooms, broken facilities, and lack of basic safety made the stay extremely uncomfortable.Definitely not value for money, and not recommended for families or solo travelers.

We visited their restaurant ( we were sitting on banquet hall )on Durga Puja and oh my god what a pathetic service they have provided.Out of them I am pointing few things below:1. No basic knowledge of menu among the female manger / staff etc2. Found hair on my fried rice , and when requested to change the food they were arguing and later they have changed and provided a bowl of fried rice.( Don’t know but the waiter told we were doing intentionally and it’s not their fault ’’’’(Waah Noxx waah )3. Other Food quality was ok.4. They don’t have any alcohol menu. Only verbal ( don’t know they think of dhaba style may be, strange ’’ )5. Only advice is change your staff if they are not ok with customer handling.
