My experience was extremely disappointing.The first hotel I booked through Agoda did not even exist, so Agoda had to relocate me to another hotel. Before relocating me, the Agoda agent clearly informed me that I would not have to pay anything extra.However, when I reached the relocated hotel around 12:30 AM, the staff told me that unless I paid 200 in cash, they would deny my booking as well. Since it was late at night and I had no other option, I was forced to pay the 200.The next day, when I complained about this unfair charge, the hotel tried to justify it by falsely claiming that I had checked out at 1:30 PM. This was completely untrue. I have proof that I checked out at 11:10 AM.The issue was never just the 200. The hotel first took extra money from me against what I had been told, and then made a false allegation instead of admitting their mistake. This was a very unprofessional and dishonest experience. I hope Agoda takes such incidents seriously so that other guests do not have to face the same situation.
