Usually, I rely on reviews before choosing a place, but this time, I decided to experience it firsthand as I was keen to stay near Assi Ghat to attend the early morning Aarti. Winter mornings can make you lazy, so I didn’t want the distance to be a barrier. The location of the hotel is undoubtedly one of the best, right at Assi Ghat. Thanks to this, I managed to get a front seat at the Ganga Aarti’a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.However, apart from the prime location, there was nothing extraordinary about the hotel. If the tariff had been around ’4,000-’5,000 per night, I would have rated it higher. But at ’10,000 per night, equivalent to a 5-star hotel, certain expectations naturally arise. Unfortunately, the room had no windows, and there was no hot water in the washroom (imagine taking a cold shower during Varanasi winters). The complimentary water bottles were just 500 ml per guest, and we had to ask multiple times for a refill the next day.The bed and room were decent, and the toilets were clean, though there was a small leak, leading to constant water wastage. Toiletries were provided, which was a plus. While the staff was polite, the service was inefficient, pointing to significant management issues. We even shared our feedback with the manager, suggesting they either improve their services or lower the tariff.A location near the ghat does not justify such a premium price. Moreover, local drivers and autos often recommended staying near Sigra or the Chowk area since Assi Ghat is at one end, and traveling to most other places takes around 30 minutes.Overall, I’d rate the experience 2 stars for the value for money but 5 stars for the location.

- The Price of the room doesn't match with the quality of the room.- There was lot of construction going around the room, and there was different type of smell in the room.- The TV and AC were not working properly.- Room service was okayish.- The location of the hotel is perfect as near to Assi Ghat, & other prime location.

Stayed here for 4 nights.. one of the best experiences but I would have preferred a better way to travel within the hotel. Walking 3-4 floors upto the terrace each day was definitely not very enjoyable. But, the location of the hotel is absolutely stunning and so are the services. Would recommend a stay here!

’We chose this hotel for a two-day stay due to its convenient location, having canceled our reservation at the Radisson. Unfortunately, we deeply regret that decision. The staff is poorly trained, and the food quality is far below standard. What’s more concerning is the staff’s, including the chef’s, lack of understanding of basic dietary restrictions, such as gluten allergies or vegan requirements. While the location is a plus, it’s not enough to make up for the overall disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying here.’
