Porcupine Castle Resort

I had a great stay with friendly service and smiling faces. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a nice variety. The location was fantastic. I want to specially mention Boppana for his exceptional helpfulness. I lost some money at the resort and only realized after checkout. The staff was very honest, searched for the money, found it, and transferred it to my bank account. What could have been a negative experience turned positive thanks to their trustworthiness. Much appreciated 👍. The only drawback I noticed is that despite the excellent location and service, the property shows signs of aging with some leaky taps and a squeaky bed, though they have tried to keep everything in good condition.

Our experience at Porcupine Castle Resort was absolutely delightful. I would strongly suggest this resort to anyone traveling to Coorg, especially first-timers. It stands out as one of the top accommodations in the region. From the reception and staff to the rooms, food, and overall service, everything was outstanding. The rooms were spotless, hygienic, and well-kept. The food was tasty, and the staff were very humble, polite, and always eager to assist with a smile. A memorable part of our visit was the plantation walk led by Manoj Sir. His extensive knowledge about the plantation, various plants, animals, birds, and even small creatures like ants and spiders was remarkable. He made the walk both educational and fun. Another aspect I appreciated was that many staff members spoke KANNADA. Being in Karnataka, it was heartening to see the local language used and respected while attending to guests, which added to the warm atmosphere. The resort perfectly combines comfort, hospitality, and nature. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Coorg. We look forward to returning!
