I stayed at this hotel in early March 2026 after booking through EaseMyTrip, and honestly, it turned into a really frustrating experience. We reached around 5:45 PM, and there was no one at the reception. We waited for about 20 minutes, and the contact number listed on EaseMyTrip was switched off. We had no choice but to keep waiting. When someone finally showed up, instead of helping us, he refused to let us check in and told us to wait outside until after the Ganga Aarti. We had travelled around 850 km by bike with all our luggage, so leaving everything unattended wasn’t even an option. We ended up waiting there for almost 2.5 hours. The worst part is that we had travelled all that distance mainly to attend the Ganga Aarti, and because of this poor management, we completely missed it.We also raised this issue with EaseMyTrip, but they didn’t take any proper action or even respect our time. No support, no accountability, and no compensation. As for the hotel itself, even though it’s near the ghat, you can’t see anything from the room’you have to step outside. The staircase is in bad condition, and the bathrooms are shared, which makes it even worse, especially for families.Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel, especially if you’re travelling with family or kids. And honestly, I’d think twice before booking through EaseMyTrip again.Since you have closed the options to reply you back adding my reply to you here:Thank you for your response. I’ll clarify a few facts so there’s no confusion for anyone reading this.1. Lack of availability and basic coordinationI started trying to reach you from around 4:30 PM, and your phone was switched off. There was no alternate contact number available either on Google or on EaseMyTrip. When we reached at 5:45 PM, there was no one present at the property. This is not about ’crowd during Aarti,’ this is about basic availability and responsibility at a hotel reception, which was clearly missing.2. Check-in denial is not acceptableInstead of assisting us, your staff asked us to wait outside for hours. After traveling nearly 850 km by bike with luggage, this is completely unacceptable. Managing peak hours is the hotel’s responsibility, not the guest’s problem.3. Pricing does not justify lack of basicsYou mentioned ’1200 as if it justifies the experience. Let me be clear, I have travelled extensively across North, Central, and South India, and this price is absolutely reasonable for a basic room with minimum expectations like an attached bathroom, ventilation/window, and a functional reception setup. None of these were properly met. Also, mentioning ’shared bathroom’ in fine print does not excuse poor communication or lack of clarity. Guests expect transparency, not hidden conditions.4. False assumptions and toneInstead of acknowledging the issue, your response is defensive and personal. I have call logs showing multiple attempts to reach both you and EaseMyTrip. So questioning the authenticity of my experience is unfair and incorrect.5. Safety and infrastructure concernsYou should seriously evaluate your property before calling it a ’hotel.’ The staircase and narrow access areas are not just inconvenient; they are potential safety risks. In case of any emergency, evacuation would be extremely difficult.6. About ’Z security’If expecting a basic, smooth check-in after a long journey sounds like ’Z security’ to you, then yes, that’s exactly what any guest would expect. First impressions matter, and in this case, it was extremely poor.Final note:Neither you nor the booking platform supported us at the most critical moment. The entire purpose of our trip - attending the Ganga Aarti - was missed solely because of this mismanagement, despite traveling over 850 km and spending nearly 16 hours on the road.As a guest, I expect basic professionalism, clear communication, and minimum hospitality standards. This review reflects my actual experience so that other travellers can make informed decisions.
