Soho Boutique Hotel

I stayed at Soho Boutique Hotel in Lakshmipuram, Mysore for two days. The room was nice, and I truly appreciate Lakshmi for her outstanding service. She was professional, courteous, and helpful. Thanks to Lakshmi, Pratap, Front Office staff Shivu, the security team, and others for making my stay pleasant. However, my experience with Supervisor Ravi Kumar was very disappointing. During checkout, Ravi Kumar unnecessarily shared several internal and confidential hotel issues with me, including PTC bookings, food costs, losses, staff problems, and remarks about other employees. As a guest, I have no reason to be involved in these internal matters. This was unprofessional and unacceptable behavior from a hotel supervisor. Problems with PTC, food costs, staff, or management should be addressed with the Manager, GM, or MD, not guests. I felt irritated and uncomfortable hearing these unnecessary details. Guests should not be exposed to internal hotel issues during checkout. Please direct these concerns to your management, not customers. I urge the Manager, GM, and MD to review Ravi Kumar's conduct and check if internal matters are being shared with guests inappropriately. Such behavior can harm the hotel's professional reputation. I provide this feedback expecting better professionalism from supervisory staff. Regarding Ravi Kumar: please remember guests come for a comfortable stay, not to hear internal problems or staff gossip. I hope management takes this seriously and prevents recurrence. Thanks again to the excellent staff members.

Our stay was very disappointing. We were assigned a lower-category Deluxe room instead of the Luxury Double room we booked. Having stayed in the same hotel and room category before, I quickly noticed the difference. When we told the reception, the staff showed no apology and just moved us from one room to another without properly resolving the issue. Additionally, the washroom lacked basic toiletries. Most importantly, in the middle of the night, maintenance work was happening directly above our room, with loud banging and furniture being moved, making it feel like someone was hitting our heads from above. Despite informing reception at check-in that we would leave at 5 AM, they still placed us below the maintenance area. After a long journey, we arrived expecting rest before an early departure, but this disturbance ruined our stay. Such carelessness and disregard for guests is unacceptable, and we will not stay here again.

The hotel is excellent and the service is great. The food is delicious. I had a wonderful stay here and would suggest this place to my family and friends.
