Staying at Taj Usha Kiran Palace in Gwalior was an amazing experience — definitely the place to be if you're visiting the city. This hotel is more than just accommodation; it's a magnificent historic palace that transports you to another era from the moment you arrive. The rooms, architecture, gardens, and surroundings are breathtaking, serene, and steeped in history, giving you a glimpse of royal life. Its location is perfect — peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the museum. What truly made our visit outstanding was the staff. Special thanks to Anay, who exceeded all expectations by personally guiding us through the palace, sharing its history, offering recommendations, and always being ready to assist. His sincere hospitality made us feel very welcome. At the Silver Saloon restaurant, Soumya was fantastic — attentive, kind, and accommodating. The restaurant impressed us with its flexibility, able to prepare dishes off-menu to suit dietary needs or preferences, and Soumya ensured everything was perfect. The team was available around the clock, even via WhatsApp, to help with food, room needs, bookings, or any special requests, always making us feel cared for. The food was excellent, the sweets delightful, and the hotel spotless throughout. This beautiful palace with lovely rooms, tranquil gardens, and exceptional service is unforgettable mainly because of the warmth and genuine care from the people. Thanks to Anay and Soumya for making our stay so memorable — they truly represent Taj hospitality. If we come back to Gwalior, there's no doubt we'll stay here again. Taj Usha Kiran Palace is an experience in itself. ❤️

Wonderful experience

Great property, outstanding hospitality. Truly worth it. Being a taj member my room was upgraded upon arrival. The staff was courteous and helpful. The palace is worth exploring with guided tour and sufi music evening. There was a chance for my daughter to play with the rabbits at the hotel which were people friendly, which was a delight to my 3 year old. Worth it. The only con being that locating the palace and navigation with the help of Google maps is still quite tough

I just had a luxury getaway at Taj Usha Kiran past 3 days with my parents.A perfect serene spot away from the hustle of the city.The very warm hospitality adds cherry on the top.Definitely recommending it already to my friends and family.I met Anay and Puja ma'am in the fromt office, with two other very polite ladies, my special thanks to all for checking on us and making sure everything is in order. I loved how these people were responsible and forthcoming.I would like to mention Chef Guddu as well for his skills and special attention to us and almost every other guest in the hotel. He is a dedicated man and superb at his job.I thank you all, and will definitely visit again. Best wishes until then.

An authentic palace, but above all an unforgettable experienceWe had a truly wonderful stay at this Taj property.The palace is beautiful, authentic and clearly above the usual standards we experienced during our journey through India, while still retaining the character ’ and some of the imperfections ’ of a genuine historic Indian property.What really makes this place exceptional, however, is the people. The staff were simply fantastic: warm, attentive and always ready to go beyond our expectations.A special thank you to Anay, incredibly thoughtful and helpful even beyond his responsibilities, to Ravi, and especially to Vaibhav Jaitly, whose attention and hospitality were truly outstanding.The food was excellent, and the local live music every evening made dinners and the atmosphere even more special.The property may have a few details that could be improved, but the overall experience was extraordinary. Hospitality like this is rare anywhere in the world.Five stars, without hesitation.
