The Arcadia Coimbatore Airport

I stayed at The Arcadia Hotel in Coimbatore yesterday with my wife and sister. I have been a regular guest here, which makes this experience even more disappointing.The first unpleasant experience happened during check-in. The receptionist on duty around 9 PM handled the ID verification in a very rude and unprofessional manner. Asking for ID is completely understandable, but the attitude and tone used were unnecessary and made us feel uncomfortable right at the start.The situation became worse when we reached our room. Just outside the room there was a cart used for collecting food waste, and the smell was extremely bad. The odor was so strong that it was very unpleasant to even enter the room. Basic hygiene and guest comfort should never be compromised like this.Breakfast the next morning was another big disappointment. The idly tasted sour, the upma was the only basic item available, there was no dosa, and the chapathi was extremely hard. For something called a ’buffet breakfast,’ the variety and quality were far below expectations.Another frustrating experience was the outside food policy. Zomato delivery was not allowed to come up, and the staff said they would bring the food themselves. However, after waiting nearly 20 minutes, the food we ordered for my sister’s child still did not arrive. This kind of delay is unacceptable, especially when a child is waiting for food.Overall, this stay was far below the standards I expected from this hotel. Management seriously needs to improve staff behavior, hygiene around rooms, and food quality. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future guests do not go through the same experience.

My experience in this hotel was completely satisfied..be it the room, the neatness..food availability and choices..Most importantly every staff were very polite and their services were outstanding.I would certainly recommend this place of stay

Rooms are under renovation. Refuse rooms in first floor. Very good location though very pricey. Ideal price 2400-2750 including GST. But they charge anywhere between 4000-6500. REFUSE FIRST FLOOR IT STINKS AND SERIOUSLY NOT LIVEABLE. I have been visiting this hotel last 12 years. They used to have fantastic Bali massage then but now stopped.

Great place, but interiors are under construction. Food is good. When we arrived, we noted that our room was given to someone else. The person at the reception said, come upstairs and ran up the stairs. We noted that the room was in the 1st Floor and took the lift. Only the security was welcoming.

I was offered suite room which is quite spacious!But somehow i felt the room is quite outdated with the amenities and facility.King size bed is provided with neat and clean linen and adequate comfort for better sleep!Toilet and bath room is quite okay and not a super duper! It meets the purpose.However i feel lot of outside noise disturbance like ambulance and hard bang noise from the vehicles from highway. And room feel dusty and need some more care and attention to perfection!!Perfect breakfast location and ambience on 3rd floor. The guy is very polite and so kind to assist me during my breakfast. He made my day!!The reception is quick to board and de-board process and help with taxi booking too!Overall could be a okay option for business overnight stay due to the reason close proximity to airport!
