Had a wonderful stay with my family at Crown IHCTC Hotel Bhubaneswar’. The property is very well maintained, clean, and offers a very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.The food was absolutely delicious, and we especially enjoyed the experience at Zodiac Caf??. The quality, taste, and variety of food were excellent. A special appreciation to the staff at Zodiac Caf?? for their wonderful hospitality, friendly nature, and attentive service which made our dining experience truly memorable.The entire hotel staff was courteous, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, it was a fantastic family stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bhubaneswar.

Visited The Crown for dinner with high expectations, but the food experience was extremely disappointing. The palak sabji was completely tasteless, and the Manja Rai was poorly prepared and unpleasant to eat. The food lacked flavor, quality, and proper execution. Especially from the Indian kitchen under Chef Alok Srivastava , I expected much better standards.The only good part of the experience was the bar staff and service ’ they were polite, attentive, and handled everything professionally. Sadly, the food quality completely ruined the overall dining experience. Definitely not worth the hype. ’?

I recently stayed at Hotel The Crown IHCL and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel was neat and clean, which made for a comfortable stay, and the location is quite convenient for getting around the city.The breakfast spread was good and satisfying, offering a nice start to the day. However, the service quality was somewhat inconsistent. There were noticeable gaps in basic amenities such as towels, complimentary fruits, and toiletries. At times, even housekeeping standards varied, which slightly affected the overall comfort.Additionally, there were delays in a few services, which could be improved to match the expectations from a hotel of this standard.Overall, the experience was good but not great. With more consistency and attention to service quality, the hotel has the potential to offer a much better guest experience.

We had an exceptional experience at The Crown bhubaneswar during our first personal visit. While making the reservation, we had booked a twin bed room by mistake instead of a king bed. During check-in, we requested a change as we were traveling as a couple. We were informed that the hotel was fully booked. Later we mentioned them, we were celebrating our anniversary. Duty Manager truly understood our concern.To our pleasant surprise, within just 10 minutes, they managed to arrange a king bed room for us without any additional charge. This thoughtful gesture itself made our stay memorable. Surprises didn’t end there. When we returned to our room in the evening, we were delighted to see a beautiful decoration along with a cake arranged for us. It was an incredibly warm and personal touch.Breakfast at the restaurant was outstanding, offering a great variety and quality. Staff throughout the hotel were courteous, attentive, and truly deserving of a 10/10 rating.We would love to stay here every time we travel to Bhubaneswar. Highly recommended!

The Crown IHCL, Bhubaneswar ’ A Short Transit Stay with Mixed ImpressionsOur family had a one-night transit stay at The Crown IHCL, Bhubaneswar. The property has the character of a typical city hotel, offering convenience and comfort for short visits.The check-in process was smooth, and lunch at the Sunday brunch buffet was pleasant. Though the spread was limited, it was adequately diverse and thoughtfully included options suitable even for special dietary needs, which we appreciated.That said, the staff appeared a bit unsure and inconsistent in managing guest expectations, leading to some confusion during our stay. The housekeeping services were notably underwhelming ’ the team seemed short-staffed and insufficiently trained. A straightforward request for a firm bed unfortunately escalated into an unnecessary one-hour fiasco, only after which the Duty Manager intervened to take corrective action.To his credit, the Duty Manager handled the situation deftly once engaged, coaching the team and ensuring resolution. However, this episode could have been completely avoided with proactive management and better communication, especially given the IHCL standards of service excellence that guests expect.On a brighter note, Ms. Rajshri and Mr. Amitabha deserve sincere appreciation for their professionalism and warmth in providing a room upgrade and a complimentary extra bed for our child. Their thoughtful gestures helped restore the overall experience.In summary, The Crown IHCL offers a comfortable city stay with good potential, but needs stronger operational oversight to match the brand’s reputation.Overall score: 8/10.
